“Great course overall, really well presented especially starting with the history and the reasons of when and when not to consider minor surgery. Good layout which kept engagement throughout. Very useful practical resources during the course which were clearly demonstrated. Only work on point would be to also cater for audience members who may not be in the NHS, either because they come from abroad or have a different contract arrangement.”

“Sound content, well explained. Confident and experienced teachers. Pervasive cynicism (about systems, the NHS, patients) over the three days, which was much more marked in the minor surgery than the joint injection course. Very specifically aimed at NHS GPs and may not be as suitable for others.”

“Medical Skills Courses certainly exceeded my expectations. Having no real prior experience, I was extremely nervous however Duncan and Mike were extremely knowledgable, friendly and approachable. The course structure is also designed perfectly in terms of being very interactive and interesting. This is a real plus as often courses can be death by power point however these guys teach it in such a way that you understand and retain the information whilst keeping it enjoyable so much so that my knowledge has now increased significantly. The lifetime resources they also provide you with pre and post course is second to none. I will definitely be back to do further courses. Thank you!!”

“I booked a course for Joint Injections and another for Minor Surgery using the RCGP Wales service and I was fortunate to have the training provided by Medical Skills Courses. I cannot praise the instructors enough for their enthusiams, their knowledge and ability to teach effortlessly. I am so much better prepared now to offer these services and I have gained valuable knowledge. I think the Minor Surgery course went into more details than a previous Basic Surgical Skills course and that was aimed at surgical trainees! I am grateful for the advice and the guidance. The manual and the educational videos are going to help a lot ahead.”
