“I have attended the Medical Skills Minor Surgery Course twice. Most recently at the request of my Health Board who required a 5 year refresher to continue practicing Minor Surgery. The two day course was quite simply excellent. The course covers every aspect of setting up and safely running a Minor Surgery List. Knowledeable presenters, great pace and all the relevant information needed for quality, safety and compliance. Also covered financial constraints and ways of minimising costs. I can highly recommended attending.”

“I loved the course. The content was very relevant and very infromative. The course was run in a very friendly manner and hand holding was done where needed. We were given enough equipment to practice on and at no point felt rushed or not been taught as a person who was new to this field. To top it all, lovely lunch on both days with a beautiful view of salford Quays. I would love to attend with the same team again.”

“Excellent for newcomers to minor surgery. Not so good if you’ve been doing for a while or are doing at a higher level than basic GMS. A lot of time spent covering extremely basic things e.g. suturing. Expensive course for minimal contact with those presenting information. Very few hours for your money. Equipment used not great quality and made any practising hard. Quoting of out of date facts and figures- e.g. BCC margin advice is 4mm not 3mm (BJD 2021).”

“I attended Joint injections and Minor Surgery Courses with them. From arrangements to teaching methodology, the courses were very thorought and interactive. I would certainly recommend them. Ps: there was enough free parking and the food has been quite good all three days!”
