“It was a really good day course. The teaching was succinct and practical and the location was very good with an excellent lunch as well. The pre-course materials were very good and the videos a perfect accompaniment to the course. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that the number of models per student for practice was too low in my opinion which limited the amount of practice we each got due to crowding. A few more models, perhaps set up on each table rather than at stations around the room would have been better.”

We're delighted to hear that you found the teaching succinct and practical, enjoyed the location and lunch, and that the pre-course materials and videos supported your learning effectively. Regarding your comment on the number of practice models available: we completely appreciate your perspective. We do in fact provide more models per delegate than any other provider in the UK, and all of our models are state-of-the-art, including tablet-assisted simulation models, which we regularly renovate and maintain to ensure the highest standard of practice experience. While these models come at significant cost, we believe they are essential to delivering realistic, high-quality training. We are always reviewing the setup to minimise any sense of crowding, and your suggestion to consider placing additional models on each table rather than in central stations is very helpful — we will certainly take this into account for future sessions. “Fantastic course ! I am a GP with little to none surgical experience and I thouroughly enjoyed it. Enjoyed the company , met some wonderful people from different places and What a team Mike and Ducan make. Every teaching was full of fun and to be honest brilliantly taught ! Hands on experience was great. 5 star and recommend every newbie who wants to really learn minor surgery”

“A fabulous and so informative 2 study days for minor surgery. Renewed my enthusiasm for healthcare & hope to move to a new speciality!! Was a relaxed atmosphere, able to ask questions any time, the tutors explain & give rationales for all the processes. The venue by the SS Great Britain was good, drinks available all day, clean, spacious. Equipment was provided for our DOPS. Thank you so much.”
