“After querying where my order was,, it eventually arrived.. well packaged. The chickens are good. A bit small but very tasty. The lamb was good. Nice and tender. The brisket however was not what I expected. There was no fat on it at all.,so cooking nice and slow on low heat was not good. I’m a cook, and was very disappointed. A bit pricey. But the quality was there except for the brisket.”

“Excellent quality of meat (rib of beef) for Christmas and great communication around delivery due to courier delays. Proposed weight was 3.6kg, actual weight 3.1kg which I feel is a little outside natural variation. Would use again.”

“The beef wasn’t as tender as I expected, but it was only a very small joint. My main concern is that delivery was delayed by one day, but I only found out by contacting you.”

“Great product, poor delivery. Could not organise a delivery date online for Meatbox subscription. Had to ring the office to arrange on the phone for first week of Jan as it was a gift for Xmas. The subscription was delivered 3 days before Xmas. Bit disappointed.”

“Very helpful staff when I called to place the order, I just wish the T bones resembled the nicely cut ones that are shown to draw you in. All 4 of mine had loads of fat at the end of the sirloin so by the time that was carved off it reduced the weight and sirloin considerably. A shame because the pork chops were amazing but the steaks were a disappointment. At least with your local butcher you can see what your getting..”

“Meat was ok but you have already asked me to review the pork joint ( which I did and is published) for this you would send me a 10% voucher code (refJesse) you didn't. Hence my average rating on customer satisfaction, lacking a bit of integrity.”

“I live alone so I ordered 4 Ribeye and asked for them to sealed separately They came as a pack of 4. I ordered 4 chops and requested they be packed in 2s. They came as a pack of 4. The steaks had a line of sinew running through them 7/10”
