“Unprofessional and very rude! I enquired on line for income protection insurance. I was not given an online quote and someone rang me immediately. I explained I was busy at work and I’m a father so don’t have time to be on the phone, hence I wanted a quick online quote. Some time went by before I received a mail asking some extra questions. I answered the questions and received a quote. I decided not to go with the quote, but I was constantly harassed via telephone and email. Finally I was left a very sour and unprofessional voicemail. I replied to one of their texts explaining my concern over this and I received this response from Chris: Thankyou for your contact Karl. There is never any obligation with the services we provide, however when you have asked us to take time out of our day and asked us to help you asses your protection needs using our knowledge and expertise of the Income Protection market, it would be common courtesy to provide our protection team with your feed back or a response. Your enquiry has been closed, please refrain for making enquiries if you have no intention of following them up. Regards, Manor Financial Basically if you ask for a quote they expect you to take out a policy and use pushy tactics in an attempt to force you to take a policy with them. Disgusting and unprofessional conduct from Chris at Manor financial!”

As stated in the contact you have received and copied into your review, there is never an obligation to take any product or policy through ourselves at Manor Financial. All we ever ask is that our clients provide us with their honest feedback so we can effectively manage their enquiry. Should they have a continued interest after receiving a quotation, we work around their busy schedules to book a telephone appointment. If they have no further interest, we close the enquiry down to stop additional outbound contact. In cases where clients ignore all efforts made by the protection team to gather feedback, we struggle to efficiently manage their expectations. The efforts and service provided by our industry-renowned sales team are far from unprofessional or rude. “Chris from Manor Financial assisted me in getting income protection insurance. He was nothing but wonderful, during the initial call I was waiting for some test results so the protection couldn't be started, but Chris was brilliant, messaging me to check in and then 2 weeks later ringing with a follow up call. again I was still waiting for a scan so again couldn't complete the insurance. A few days later I had a missed call and text from Chris saying he had been speaking about my case to some insurance companies and they had agreed although I was waiting for a scan he found a company happy to provide insurance. After this text I called him and he spent nearly an hour going through and ensuring I was happy with my policy and quote. I could not recommend Manor enough and more so Chris, he is simply brilliant”
