“My lovely partner organised the scan as a surprise for me and from the moment we walked in we felt truly welcomed. The reception staff were very personable and helpful and made us feel as if the experience was unique and tailor made to us. They went above and beyond to give us the personal touch. The scan itself was magical and the sonographer’s assistant really stood out being warm and endearing and providing thoughtful, insightful commentary as we looked at our little baby on the big screen. The music playing in the room: ‘Brahm’s Lullaby’ and the soft lighting very much added to the ambience and knowing that the whole scan was going to be captured on video that we could play back at anytime on the bumpies app was great. Needless to say it has been played quite a few times. The 4D scan is breathtaking and so much more detailed than a 2D scan. We went in my 27th week and the images were super clear on the screen. It was amazing and quite surreal feeling a little punch in my tummy and watching the baby raise its tiny fist on the screen at the same time. After the scan we were left alone to choose our photos and we never felt hurried. The receptionist who was lovely, spoke to us at length about her own experiences and asked us lots of questions and it really made the experience that much more personal and special. We chose a heartbeat teddy bear which was the most delightful item ever and a 3 frame scan picture frame, but nothing was pushed onto us, which we appreciated. Being near to Christmas, we were particularly touched by the free Christmas bauble of our little one’s image and it hung proudly on our tree and all the family loved seeing it. We were asked to pose for the Facebook page which was complimentary and nobody let on the sex of our baby as we’ve chosen to keep it as a surprise. All in all, it was a beautiful experience from start to finish and we would recommend Window to the Womb to any expectant parents. Thank you to everybody for making the day so wonderful.”
