Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately you placed your order on Saturday 23rd December, after we were closed and on our official Christmas break. We did have notices on our site to say that we were closed and that any orders placed after 22nd December would be processed on our return. I've checked and I see that your order was delivered to you on the 3rd of anuary 2024 after being processed by us when we returned on the 2nd January.

paid for next day delivery but didn't get it on time. i was told it would be investigated but I haven't heard anything. Haven't even had a refund for the delivery

I was hit by a significant customs tax that made the purchase a very bad deal. This was a surprise, it was not called out on the website. In comparison, Amazon's final charge includes this tax and it's called out. UK retailers literally had years to prepare for this. I recommend not using this website.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, due to the recent Brexit ruling, we are not responsible for, nor are we able to make changes to potential international import charges when ordering from outside of the United Kingdom. In this case, the customer's order was not charged VAT, which is a requirement for online orders exported to non-UK addresses (this includes Ireland, EU and international delivery addresses). We advise that this customer properly researches the current legislation and understands what charges they are responsible for paying on delivery. It is not the responsibility of the seller to make additional import/export charges at the time of purchase. Please check our current Terms & Conditions for further information. Amazon may have an arrangement with the HMRC, but this is not something available to other online retailers and is certainly not an option available to us. We find, in this case, the customer's review is misinformed, inaccurate and does not properly represent our company policies or practices.
