“After 73 lessons, my sister was told by Julia that she couldn't use Julia's car for her test. This was a shock as it was only 4 days before the test. Having spent so much time and money on lessons my sister had to use a car she wasn't used to driving in, so this was a real stress factor for her. Unfortunately she failed her test!!!!!!!!!”

“I had Vaughan mayo as an instructor. He was very rude and mean through the whole process. He made me feel uncomfortable at times with inappropriate messages. When it came nearer to my test he done nothing but make me feel like I was gonna fail. Knocked my confidence repeatedly & instead of encouraging me when I done something wrong made me feel like I was never going to improve. I done the test (which he repeatedly told me I was going to fail) and passed! First time! Don’t ever let a driving instructor knock your confidence or make you feel like you’re not good enough! Never will I recommend this company for allowing a man like this to work with young impressionable people”

“David Brough of the Northampton area is rude and totally unreliable. Arranges to meet for lessons on a Monday and then the day of the lesson he says he had a bad back and needed to cancel. He then rearranged a lesson for Friday and didn’t bother to show for it. No contact nothing! Have sent him WhatsApp messages so I know he’s read them but can’t be bothered to text back….rude!!”

“Don’t recommend. Started driving in March 2022 and was going fine, went a couple months without driving because my instructor never answered but thought nothing of it. I then asked for a lesson in august and haven’t got a reply since. Overall I had about 10 lessons and felt like I didn’t advance at all. I moved to Red and they really helped me a lot and I just passed first time. If you’re in need of a driving school, don’t come here, go to Red.”

“I’m so unhappy with this school.Its been two weeks they haven’t got back to me with an instructor as I have a test coming up.One of their instructors (who was my instructor)have left the driving school and there is no one to take her place or cover certain areas of Banbury.”

We are sorry you feel let down. This has been a very difficult situation for all concerned. We had one automatic instructor covering Banbury. Due to ill health, your driving instructor was forced to stop teaching under doctors orders with immediate effect. This happened without warning, we understand your frustration being left without an instructor. There is a shortage of automatic driving instructors in Banbury and although we tried to find other schools that might be able to help there were no automatic instructors available. We are in the process of training a new instructor to take your instructors place, due to the rigorous process of qualifying as a driving instructor this trainee will not be available to teach until June/July 2020.
