I'm pleased with the torch - the quality of light is excellent. The battery design is clever in that the rechargeable battery slots into a standard battery compartment which can otherwise hold 3 x AAA batteries so one has lots of choice. The rechargeable battery can also be recharged while in the torch using the USB cable. The USB cable also makes it very flexible for travel. The iSEO5 isadvertised as a torch to "meet the needs of professionals in the most challenging of workplace and industrial environments". It seems very similar in construction to a standard SEO3 but time will tell as to it's durability. I'm visually impaired in that I have no low light vision so I use it a lot. The closing clip on my SEO3 broke after 4 months and Customer Support were very helpful in sending out a replacement. The battery is advertised as lasting 5 hours on full power. The first battery lasted 2.5 hours from full charge. I contacted Customer Support who instantly sent out a replacement. On the first two full charges, this replacement lasted 4 hours and 15 minutes and 4 hours and 10 minutes. Customer Support tell me that the batteries are +/- 15% and are subject to operating conditions etc. etc. etc.. 4 hours 15 minutes just scrapes in at 85% of what was promised and that was the first charge so I'm not particularly impressed nor hopeful for the longevity. Also, it took 2 weeks from being dispatched from the UK to arrive in the Republic of Ireland. I'd happily rate the torch as "Very Good", the battery as "Average", maybe "Poor", depending on how it lasts, customer support as "Very Good" and the jury is out on durability.

Got this email before I got the product delivered...mmmmm.........Product not as good as I had hoped....There are more powerful head lights around. Disappointed, especially paying so much money for it. Shan't be buying another one nor recommending to my Fishing friends....

Been sent an email to ask me to review Led Lenser... So happy to do it. The request is rather premature as I have not, as yet, received my item. I've given an average rating as I don't know if the torch is any good or not yet as it's not arrived. I'd suggest these requests might be made once the item/items people order have arrived. So my experience so far: Irritating.

I like the torch, the weight of the torch and the brightness - however, I bought it to use whilst out walking my dog... So far it has had 4 new batteries; the burn time said 5 hours, I appreciate this but it is a pain changing the battery every week not really fit for my purpose...

Hi Laura, It sounds like your torch may have a problem, these burn times are not usual - you can return the torch for a replacement using our free returns service here: https://www.royalmail.com/track-my-return/create/284 Thanks Matt

Would help if the request for a review was made once the product ordered had actually been delivered. I find such requests annoying and impossible to give an honest response to.

Very difficult to get the packaging off, and then we had to struggle with lengths of wire. The batteries for the small torch are almost impossible to fit, and now there is nowhere to turn it on! Dozens of little pieces of paper with various bits of useless info fluttered like confetti round the room and the whole process is frustrating. Why make the print so small we had to employ a microscope to read? Why packaging one has to employ a Stanley knife for? In total exhaustion I feel like lobbing the whole caboodle into the bin. CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS. EASY PACKAGING. PLEASE!!!

Although the website can be a little difficult to navigate (e.g. registering a product for warranty) the products are good quality and I am pleased with my purchase. One negative however, is the plastic packaging (especially on the H5). Which was very difficult to open and I ended up cutting my finger on a sharp plastic edge.

Nothing bad about the site or products but It would be a lot better if a we were not asked to do a review or survey for everything we do in life now!

Put the batteries in, turned it on, it worked - what more do I need to say Update, now being hassled by LED LENSER to provide 'better' feedback. I did not agree to receive further marketing emails in the first place

Mmm. I guess the designers enjoyed making this. But it lets me down every day. Lots of technology "because we can". But as a user, do we need it? It maintains full brightness till the battery is low - very clever but a bloody nuisance. You are using it and suddenly it goes off. It is far more intuitive to have a slowly fading light. But the main problem is that the main light is so bright that it drains the battery in no time. Too bright for anything useful apart from proving that"mines more powerful than yours"!! I tested the second level light and it lasted 13 hours non stop. Great but it would be better if it was a bit brighter. I wish I had bought a simpler light that was a sensible level and lasted say 8 hours. Also why do these people insist on designing torches that come on on the max brightness dazzling everyone and eating battery when they should start on minimum and then you increase of you need it. Do the designers actually use their torches?
