“I have never purchased anything on-line before. I found the website easy to navigate and easy to add/drop items from shopping cart. Ordered full kilt set with family pin and belt buckle and shipment arrived in Canada in 9 calendar days. Kilt and 'all the trimmings' were exactly what I expected. In fact, the kilt was a heavier fabric than I had expected. I will likely order 2 more for my brothers now that I know this company delivers what it promises.”

“The entire shopping experience was excellent. I bought a kilt and a kilt pin. The tartan I initially ordered was not available. I received an email very quickly explaining this, and was offered another choice. There was even a swatch of the new tartan so that I could see what I was purchasing. I did decide to switch it out, and was very pleased when my order arrived. The fabric, craftsmanship and fit were exactly as I had hoped for, and the cost was quite reasonable. Waiting for my order to arrive was difficult, but only because I was anxious. The wait time was also very reasonable. I would definitely purchase from them again, and highly recommend them to the buyer looking for high quality products.”

Hi Murray, We are so pleased to hear you have managed to alter the trews to fit you comfortably now. Trews are sizes a little differently to regular trousers as they do sit around the fullest part of your tummy so your trews size is usually bigger than your normal trouser waist. “The item by itself is beautiful, but being able to add a little customisation to it, sets it apart. It is to be a wedding gift to my brother, who I know is going to absolutely love it! The company themselves, kept me well informed as to when things were being completed and dispatched. The item was delivered on time and was very well packaged. As a whole, I have absolutely no complaints or other issues...in fact the only thing I would like to say, is a big thank you to buyakilt.com!!!!”

“I was very impressed with the service re my order I chose to collect from the depot in Edinburgh and all was fine, on trying the kilt on it was all correct and all goods were in good order,however I decided I would return the kilt it just was not what I was looking for. I printed off the return sheet filled it in and returned the kilt at lunch time by close of play I had my refund. There was nothing wrong with the kilt it was just not the quality I wanted however the price was very cheap for a kilt so you get what you pay for. The sporran kilt pin & socks were all great. Again I must say the service was second to none, and I would recommend this company to family & friends.”

“Ordered a couple of kilts, belt, buckle, sporran, hose and a sgian dubh on a thur evening and arrived before lunch the following wed here in rural nsw australia. Outstanding considering two items on special order. Well done staff. All leatherwork of good quality along with the kilts. Take it from a glaswegian living in oz - no worries mate.”
