“Although my kilt outfit was being phased out, I was able to get everything I wanted, in my size. My only complaint would be that I didn't know the "safety" sgian-dubh was a solid piece of decorated plastic. Not a big deal though, I'm sure I'll find a real one that I like better. This will do for now. :-)”

Hi James, Thanks so much for leaving us such a great review. Its a real shame that the Heritage of Ireland tartan is being discontinued, its a really lovely one. Its great to hear you are so pleased with your order though, I do hope it all fits well :-) The sgian dubh on the order is a safely one which means there is no blade, we do sell the traditional sgian dubh with the real blades too. Hopefully if you decide to upgrade in the future you will think of us again - Sam

“Excellent, fast & friendly service from Samantha who talked me through initial order & then Rachel afterwards. I measured my jacket incorrectly & had to exchange - spoke again to Samantha who got replacement for me incredibly fast! Prince Charlie outfit exactly as described on website & very impressed with quality - so happy I have since ordered second kilt for myself & fiancé. Thank you very much!”

“I wanted this shawl earlier in January when unfortunately it was out of stock. A lovely lady called Samantha kept my details and advised me as soon as it was back in stock and I am very pleased with my purchase. I use it as a drape come cover over my settee so it's always handy in the chilly winter evenings and is cosy and warm. Good quality lambs wool and I love the blue black colour with a stripe of purple. Great purchase.”

“I have bought many items from Buy a Kilt. On each occasion the item's have arrived promptly and in perfect order. The extensive range of tartan is wonderful (as I am linked to two clan's, lucky me I get a choice!!!) The price ranges are fab, suitable for all pockets. And the essential accessories again, great range at various prices. I must say I do have my eye on a Sgian Dubh! All in all a fab shop and a pain free experience. Lord James.x”
