“I ordered the kilt and it did in fact arrive in the time promised, which was very nice. The kilt it's self came neatly folded around my sporran. the kilt was very nice, and well made . i was very happy with the unpacking and presentation. I wore the kilt around for a day and overall was very pleased with the product. other than some minor things. I sat, walked, ran, fell down, (It's snowy and icy in Alabama at the moment) on the pleats which did not wrinkle or deform at all. The sporran was just as advertised albeit somewhat smaller than i had imagined, oh well. When i put the kilt on it was a tad stiff, which is something i am sure will come out in the wash, I actually liked the stiffness, but it is something i am sure would get old after a while. The Kilt itself is a bit longer than I would like, which is nothing that a trip to the tailor won't cure. other than that, my Sporran chain was a good bit more snug than i would have liked, so i will either be augmenting the chain i have, or ordering another one that is a bit longer. Overall i am very pleased with the product and I appreciate your company making the kilt and sending it out to me, I am sure i will enjoy it for years to come and I plan on doing more business with your company in the future. all my best to you and your employees, Jay meeks”

Hi Jay, Thanks for your feedback. So pleased you're enjoying wearing your kilt. The kilt will soften with wear. This is the poly-viscose material that is is made of. Although what makes it great is that you can wash it at home. The kilt is hemmed (unlike a custom kilt) which means it can easily be taken up. I'm sure a local tailor will be happy to do this for you. Hope to see you again ~ Rach

“Excellent on-line service and very speedy delivery. Kilt jacket and waistcoat were as described (in fact...the quality was even better than expected). Very friendly and efficient telephone conversation with the organisation too - this was in connection with a return as I ordered the incorrect size for me - my fault! In fact, the whole 'returns' business was incredibly straight-forward. I fully recommend 'Buyakilt.com' as an on-line trader and in terms of their customer-relations.”

“After much online research, I discovered that Buyakilt.com was able to supply a Prince Charlie jacket with waistcoat and other accessories within a couple of days of ordering and at a fraction of the cost of other suppliers. The ordering process was simplicity itself and when I received my order I was delighted with the quality of the material and manufacture - often a worry when buying from cheaper supplier. I also found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. In fact, I was advised to order a slightly larger chest size for the jacket and this proved sound advice as it fitted perfectly. (A tip to bear in mind...). I would definitely recommend this company and intend to use it again in the future.”

“Great Plain brown leather day sporran looks and feels quality, made in Scotland which makes a nice change from much of the cheap rubbish sold on some sites, would buy from you guys anytime.”

“my father referred me to this place and since I am getting married I wanted to get a tie in my clan tartan so I ordered a house of Edgar hand made tie in the ross hunting tartan (modern) and its amazing. I arrived in just a couple of weeks and I live in the U.S. I will totally be purchasing things from buyakilt.com in the near future. 2 thumbs up!”
