“You wait for a long time (9 weeks), so you would expect that when your items are delivered that everything would be just so! If like me you will be disappointed the kilt arrived with its kilt makers stitching in place, the luxury sporran chain strap which was specked at being red backed, is black. Oh, and customer service could not get my name right!”

Hi Lewis, I'm sorry to hear we've not impressed on your order. It was myself who had emailed you with the name Lee, so sorry I had taken this from your email. I can understand how annoying that must be. I sometimes get called Rebecca and that's not my name. Thanks for your patience whilst we made the kilt for you. Whilst we were ahead of the given completion date I had hoped to have it with you a little faster. The kilt is sent out with the pleats stitched to preserve them and hold in place, this is completely normal. Just pull at the end and this comes loose. I did check with our warehouse for your chain strap but I cannot see this. I will have another made up for you with the red backing. Watch out for this coming through the post. I hope that now that you have your kilt and outfit you feel great pride and joy when wearing it. Whilst your buyakilt.com experience didn't wow on this occasion I do hope your outfit does. Thanks for your honest feedback, it is appreciated and helps me (and the company) improve. Kindest regards Rachel

“Loved working with Buyakilt.com. I was quite nervous buying a kilt and kilt outfit, but the guidelines and kiltfinder on the site made it feel easy and manageable. “It arrived on the 30th Sept, sitting on outdoor patio chair, after opening the package I then tried it on , adjusting it for it's wear I found that the Kilt "The heritage of Scotland" fitted very well indeed. And because the 5th of Oct is my birthday it was a fine and perfect birthday gift for myself. Many thanks and timely arrival to you all . William”

“Very happy with all of my order. Kilt, belt, buckle and sporran. Really pleased with the quality and fit of the kilt itself. Looks good when the belt and sporran are added. Very comfortable to wear all day. Shall be ordering more.”

“It has been a dream to have my own kilt for many years. You have helped to fulfill that dream. It only took 4 days to get to New Zealand once it cleared customs. Amazing service! The quality of the kilt, jacket and shoes are incredible. I will buy more for the family....Great price! Thank you very much.”

“As Pipe Major of a Band in Swansea - we have purchased a number of 8yd budget kilts over a few years. We have always had prompt, good service with kilts that are of good quality for a budget price. The kilts and other produce that we have bought have been of good quality. We will continue to purchase band equipment and uniforms from this seller.”
