“The Shipping was fast, The Product was good. Out of the package it needed to be pressed as some of the pleats were crimped, and the front was very wrinkled. It was slightly larger than expected but only by about an inch. I am happy with the product.”

“This was my first kilt outfit. I had gone to a local kilt maker, been measured, and quoted £1,450 for the entire outfit. I paid 50% up front but after two weeks I got a call to say they couldn't source the tartan I wanted in time for 2 events, so I cancelled and got a refund. It was going to take 8 to 10 weeks for the outfit. I found the Kilt Society online, read some very good reviews, and ordered the entire outfit for £387. The only difference was that I didn't get to chose my own tartan. The whole outfit arrived just 2 days after placing the order and, I have to say, I am absolutely delighted with it, and with my saving of £1,063! The quality to me seems very good indeed - can't recommend the Kilt Society highly enough!”

“Great communication at all times. Product quality is excellent and great value. Shoes and Kilt were to big but with free returns changing them has been simple so far. Just waiting for the right size once it's back in stock . ☆☆☆☆☆”

“My greatest concern was realised. The kilt is not even close to fitting me, not slightly but by a huge margin. I followed the kilt guide precisely and got myself proffesionaly measured. When the kilt arrived nothing fitted including the jacket and waist coat! Luckily I can exchange the jacket and waist coat but as the kilt is custom made they won’t let me return it!”

Hey Jonathan, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. It's really disappointing to hear that you didn't get a great fit with your kilt. We try to make the measuring guide simple to avoid this, but where the fit isn't great will always make steps to adjust for you. I see my colleague Hayleigh has been chatting with you by email in order to make adjustments. We don't accept custom items back for refund but will help to make these fit for you. Hopefully we'll get there quickly for you to have your kilt. ~Rachel

“Very speedy in delivery and the item was what I ordered. A couple of minor marks on the kilt, but for the price I paid it was excellent value for money!”

“I wanted the sgian dubh for our son's birthday (5th April) and ordered it early March. I understand that the snow held up delivery of supplies but I was assured that it would be sent immediately after Easter. However, when I phoned on 4th April, it was still not ready due to a machine breaking down. It was despatched on 9th April by Special Delivery but whoever addressed it left off the T on our post code (TN12 9TT) so it went to N12 (Finchley) so we didn't receive it until 11th April!”

Hey Jennifer, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We really did drop the ball on this one and I'm sorry for that. We don't run into problems very often and unfortunately it seems everything that could have gone wrong did. We did have an issue with the supply of materials and machinery not working and then as you say a mistake with the postage label. I'm pleased to hear that you were happy with the sgian dubh when it did make it to you and I hope it was a well received gift for your son. “Fantastic service, top quality kilt better than u was expecting, reasonable prices and great delivery turn around. All doing great service will be back very soon to order my bext piece. As a piper in a kilt everyday things get worn down quickly. Items which are expensive to replace and very long delivery times is now a problem of the past for me. Thank you.”
