Delivery prompt, part of order not as expected, item delivered not as I thought described. Perhaps my fault, have emailed but no response. The Jessica emery boards, hard and normal were replaced by an unsuitable item.

Certainly dyed the hair down there, but 3 days after, red, angry and weeping skin. Even after test patch, which was OK. I think the peroxide is too strong as it burnt skin around hair.

Bought my Dermalogica from John and Ginger for years without any problems. However, I recently got an email offering me 10% off my next order and when I clicked through it wasn't added. Emailed them about it and never got any reply. Terrible customer service and they're not even the cheapest. Won't be using them again.

Thank you for leaving such a positive and helpful review. I can see that your order was shipped the same day it was placed, however it was during the time that Royal Mail were on strike over Christmas so parcels did take a few days longer to reach their destination.

Ordered a 200ml medik8 cream cleanse, when it arrived it was 175ml. When I called I was pretty much told it was an old photo and that medik8 had changed their sizes and basically I could either keep it or send it back. No real apology, just I had got a discount and basically should be happy with that. Not great customer service.

Dear Customer, I'm sorry we didn't have the very old version of that product in stock. Our stock is always very fresh. The image was updated as soon as noticed. You enjoyed a big discount when you bought it in the first place with a voucher, then we replied, apologised by email and by phone, then we gave you the opportunity to send it back or to get an extra discount on the top of the original discount you had, as that size has been totally discontinued. After talking to you we believed you were happy with our service and the little price you paid in the end for that amazing product. Dear Customer, we're happy to know that you enjoyed our service and liked the product. You get 3 samples for free when you sign in to your account. We mention this before the checkout in a few different places. You can place an order without creating an account without any problem, but when you sign in you get free samples, gifts, bonus points and you can even activate any voucher codes, and also many more benefits. The only thing that we ask our customers is to sign in to their account when placing an order for the system to activate all the benefits. Dear Customer, we're sorry your parcel didn't arrive as quick as you were expecting it. You placed the order Friday night and we sent it Free Delivery with the free skincare samples added to the parcel on Monday morning. Please note that we can only ship parcels on working days. We also recommend to pay for Premium delivery or Special Delivery if you want the parcel to arrive quicker than any normal standard delivery services in the UK. Unfortunately the product I ordered was not available. I was emailed with the offer of a similar product and extra samples, which I accepted. I also in my reply email asked for some recommendations for some skin concerns. I was disappointed to not receive a reply with any recommendations and although the alternative product was delivered in a timely manner, the 3 different sachet samples are futile as trying something once really does not allow for the skin to react. Overall it was a disappointing experience but let’s see how the alternative product performs.

Dear Customer, unfortunately we give the samples that our suppliers provide to us, we don't have any say on the amount of product that goes into the sample sachets. We give 3 free samples per order to be fair to all our customers. We did reply to your questions, please check your junk mail, we will resend it again with a read receipt. we're happy that you received the parcel on time and hope the product helps your skin needs. Please note last week was Easter and there were a couple of bank holidays, so our customer care emails couldn't be sent as quick as usual. I received the wrong item and have had to return it to wait for the correct item to be sent . Not a great start but the customer service on phone was very easy and have they assured me that it’s on its way !

I purchased the Medik8 CSA Philosophy Kit Discovery Edition for myself (female edition) I received the product for men. I sent an email to inform and was told that the men and ladies product was the same. This has put me off as I'm not fully convinced. I cannot find anything that says it is suitable form both men and women.

Dear customer, we're sorry about sending the men's gift instead of the normal gift, they are so similar, and that's why we made a human error, Apologies for that. We informed you about our mistake and confirmed that the products are exactly the same, the outside packaging of the gift set is different but the products are the same with the same sizes and ingredients and price. We misunderstood the communication that we have with you, and we believed that you were happy keeping them. You won't find any info about those Medik8 products being just for men or just for women because they are unisex as mentioned in our conversations. Please contact customer care again and we'll be happy doing an exchange. Please remember that we only did this as we wrongly believed by your response, that you were going to be happy with the order. Usually I find the service quick efficient and good value for money. This time however, I ordered 2 of the same products but only one arrived with a note saying that the second product was to follow. I'm still waiting for the second product. Having used John and Ginger for a long time, this is the first time that there's been an issue.

Unfortunately the daily superfoliant was sent to me instead of daily microfoliant which I opened so could not return it. The superfoliant is far too harsh for my skin.

At this time of the year, if you would like to receive your items ASAP, then we recommend to use the premium delivery service option instead, other than the free delivery service, as the delivery companies get really busy at this time of the year.
