“Moving house is a very stressful process and ours was no exception, however one of the high spots was the service provided by Jeakins Removals. We got a few quotes, but were impressed by Michelle Jeakins' personal and friendly touch.
Come the day of the move, the team arrived bang on time and were incredibly professional - I was very impressed with how the driver manoeuvred the lorry onto our drive, avoiding trees, cables and guttering! Nothing was an issue for the whole team and they were all so friendly - and funny! On arrival at our new house, they remained after all the unloading, installing and re-assembling items and didn’t leave until we were happy with everything.

“Very rarely do I find myself writing positive reviews nowadays but I can honestly despite my reservation of seeing some negative reviews against Jeakins I decided to use them, Mainly because the reviews I did see where what I felt was a little unjust and it only take a few of these to destroy a company. The move itself involved moving a large home in Essex to Lincoln and it went perfectly, the guys were spot on and did everything with care and attention. They even went to the length of unloading a lorry that same day just so we had our beds for the night. The brilliant team and company even the office took the time to reassure me along the way. - Damaged my TV internally. Requested I seek to repair and paid £45 for call out and report by repairman. Have not reimbursed me for either the TV or the cost of the repairman for his call out and report.
- Paid for disassembly & assembly of wardrobes. Have not reassembled or reimbursed me.
- They damaged the kitchen flooring in my old property but have ignored any request for compensation.
