About ISSOS:

The exclusive ISSOS summer school program offers high school students from over 70 nationalities (aged 13-18) the opportunity to combine learning, creative enrichment and action-packed adventure in one of three amazing, historic and picturesque university towns of St Andrews, Cambridge and Yale. Our three week program welcomes students from all over the world, mixing native and non-native English speakers and limits the number of students from one nationality to 10% in order to guarantee a truly international experience.

“I had two sons at ISSOS (St. Andrews and Cambrigde). For both of them it was an excellent experience to learn English and socialize in an international environment. They made friends and memories for life. I have one more son (11 y) and he will also attend ISSOS when he becomes older.”

“My daughter and son who are three years apart went to ISSOS when they were 15 and loved it. Beautiful surroundings, stimulating international atmosphere and enough structured activities to make it fun. They enrolled in the golf program and the Speech and Debate Course which were great experiences. The counselors were outstanding.”

“My daughter Lea went to St Andrews . She did Youth leadership and chose film as an elective. Both were fantastic choices and she learned a lot. I really would like to thank ISSOS for that fantastic summer! I recommend ISOS to everyone! Marie”

“My two teenage nieces went to ISSOS program in St Andrews, Scotland and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. ISSOS's program is academic, cultural, sportive, and also adventurous. It's a right blend for my nieces and I am glad they learnt in such a fun and enlightening environment with brilliant students and teachers from all over the world.”

“I had a fantastic time at ISSOS (St Andrews) in 2012. All the staff were amazing, very helpful and always there for us. There was a wide range of fantastic activities and day trips and the lessons were very interesting as well. I made friends from all over the world and I returned home much more confident. I highly recommend it!”

“Our son was three times at ISSOS. He enjoyed this times very much and he learned a lot and his english improved very much. At ISSOS he met a lot of people from the whole world and unti today he is in contact with some of them.”

“Choosing ISSOS is one of the best thing that I have ever made in life. My son has lots of positive experiences from ISSOS. He never said a negative thing about ISSOS. He went to other summer school before but said ISSOS is the best. We already registered again this year and our son is looking foward to another awesome experience at ISSOS.”

“I have been to ISSOS three times and those three summers were the best summers of my life! I have met the most amazing people and made great friends in just three weeks! If I could do it again I would! Sadly i’m too old now....”

“An amazing experience and beautiful memories for my son Burton who attended many summers in a row the summer school at St Andrews . He won the fda french national debating championship thanks to various skills he acquired at Issos . I found the spirit of the coaches very pleasant and the executives so kind . Thank you for all those good moments !”

“My son, Will, gained a tremdous amount of confidence during his summer at St. Andrews with ISSOS. The easy comraderie created by the instructors allowed him to make lasting friends from all over the world. He gained debating skills that made him more confident in his classes this year. Will was also proud to be selected to play a round of golf on the famous Old Course!”

“My daughter returned from St Andrews a more confident and positive person. She remains friends with those she met some three years later and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The following year she attended the Cambridge campus with just as positive an experience and still talks of the wonderful times she had at ISSOS. Her brother will be going this summer and I have no doubt he will be asking to return the following year.”
