“Independent Cottages stands out as an excellent provider in the Holiday Cottage industry. Having their own holiday cottages gives Sarah a true insight into what owners require and value, and I so appreciate having her friendly advice and support at the end of the phone. The website is attractive, informative and easy to use for holiday makers, and a really effective tool for cottage owners. No booking fees and hidden costs for customers, and no hefty percentage charges for owners taken by booking agents. We would highly recommend Independent Cottages to any potential owners looking to market their holiday accommodation.”

“We have been advertising both our holiday properties with Independent Cottages for just over a year after recommendations from friends. Our personal experience has been fantastic and in our opinion certainly match the ‘big boys’ in terms of firm bookings. Many guests do not realise their booking incorporate booking fees, which frustrates us considerable, and with Independent Cottages there is none of this. Their listing fees are extremely fair and I would not hesitate in either listing any future rentals with them or indeed looking for holiday accommodation myself.”

“I've been extremely pleased with my first year with Independent Cottages having had some less than satisfactory experiences with letting companies over 20 years of cottage letting. Set up was quick and painless with no great computing expertise needed (just as well!) and the site is easy to use. The main advantage is that you as owner maintain complete control of the letting and booking process. I have no hesitation in recommending them.”

“Independent Cottages is a great website for holiday cottage owners to advertise with. They are efficient and responsive and it's a reasonable listing price. The owner has complete control over bookings and enquiries unlike the big listing sites. It's great to be able to post special offers and late availability and the calendar feature is easily updated. The links to Twitter are a great extra and Independent Cottages engages daily with social media. As a result of their responsiveness and good Google search listing, the enquiries and bookings have come in regularly and owners can keep the personal touch with direct booking with the guest.
