“We have listed two holiday lets with independent cottages & found the entire process from initial contact to listings going live to be very straight forward. The price is reasonable & the listing content was all put together for us by Sarah. We are very happy with the listings & look forward to receiving many enquiries & bookings.”

“We have advertised our Holiday Let Cottage in Christchurch Dorset with Independent Cottages for over five years. Independent Cottages have always been very helpful when we have needed to contact them regarding our listing. Whilst some of the other Companies who advertise Cottages for owners charge fees to the guests, Independent Cottages do not and I expect they will benefit from this policy by attracting more guests for the Cottages on the Independent Cottages website. “I have been advertising with Independent Cottages since 2006. I am very happy with the number of enquiries and bookings I get from them They are easy to contact and reply promptly with any queries or changes I wish to make, -Sarah is like a friend, everything is very personal. The site is easy to maintain and add any changes or late availability offers. The layout is simple and I am able to add lots of photos or change them myself. Pricing is easy to put on the site for potential guests to see accurately what they will be charged.The link to my own website and ability to check number of views on the site or clicks to my own website is useful. If I am looking for a holiday myself, Independent Cottages is the first site I look on, there are no irritating pop ups or pressure to book. Can recommend them highly.”

We receive a steady flow of enquiries and bookings throughout the year from the website and the Last Minute Availability option works very well for us. The website is very user-friendly and Sarah has always been there to answer any queries. In our experience, the type of guests who come to us via Independent Cottages are the type of guests we like! Invariably, they are appreciative of the facilities we provide and are a delight to accommodate. Right from the outset, with setting up our ad through to now, Sarah has always been very helpful, responsive and knowledgeable. It is so good to have the 'human touch' in this day of huge websites manned by computers (I think). “I have just signed up to advertise on Independent Cottages for a second year. My main reasons for putting Coachmans Cottage here are: 1) The Independent Cottages site appears on Google page 1 in all searches for holiday accommodation in Wiltshire. 2) Independent Cottages is NOT a booking site, guests are dealing direct with the owner, something that is particularly important to me as Coachmans is a very personal business. From an owners perspective Sarah Jarvis has always been exceedingly helpful and prompt in responding to any queries, as a holiday property owner herself her inside knowledge is invaluable. The site is user friendly and continues to improve, keeping up with the ever changing ways we use IT. One feature I love is the last minute availability link. If I cannot help with a booking the first place I recommend guests to look is Independant Cottages.
