“This is the first online course that i have taken and have found it a positive experience. The slides are methodical and take you though the course step by step. The overview of the course is helpful and enables you to see where you are and encourages you to keep working. The assessment methods are good giving you 2 mock assessments and quiz's which keep you focused.The end of course assessment covered all the topics sufficiently. If I were to say anything about the course , it would be that some of the content could be broken up with video as it gets pretty quiet when you are looking at a computer for a while. Other than that excellent course and supportive tutors. Well done HSQE!”

“found the course content clear and easy to understand, however when it came to the final exam the questions did not follow the content, we taught about the process in 6 steps, when the exam asked for 7 steps , when contacted they simply said yeh we know but that's because quide lines are changing. that so potentially that's 7 marks, which means you can fail you course !”

Thanks for this Pete. Firstly, congratulations on passing the course. Which I might add you did with flying colours! I just want to clarify the point you raised. The course you took follows strictly the syllabus and question set by the course’s awarding body. The course has been audited and confirmed as meeting those requirements. There is a known issue regarding 1 question of the 150 (or so) in the question bank, which are prescribed by the awarding body, and which we have to use. These are randomly generated and so that 1 question does occasionally get asked. During our discussion, I explained that the syllabus and question set are being updated by the awarding body early in 2017. It's our expectation that that question will be revised then, to come into line with the syllabus, or visa-versa. But rest assured, none of our students have ever come close to failing the end of course test, even if that question was asked.

“I thought it was good and I liked that there was mock tests available before progressing to the end of course assessment and project. The only thing for me was that I would have liked it to be more interactive in terms of the course material. It was predominantly reading presentation slides and therefore I feel it would have been beneficial for there to be some videos to watch or quizzes etc.”

“The course was very well presented. Easy to understand. The only down fall was one question not corresponding well with the training, however that is under review. All round good course and I passed :)”

“I chose HSQE not only because it is one of the cheapest for courses but for the quality it provides, from the start the information you get is plenty and the online content is clear and informative. With online tutors there if you need them. Made me feel confident in passing, which I did with flying colours. Keep it up HSQE.”
