“Course content was relevant and targeted, it could benefit from being presented in video format with slides as a backup. Overall I was happy with the course and the testing.”

“Good course for an introduction to H&S. There is some really good interactive content, but it would have been good if the hazard perception exercises were more interactive too.”

“A good rounded course. With previous experiences in the workplace around H&S it was easier to work through compared to what I think fresh eyes would find. I did think the balance of module sizes could be reviewed as the last module was much larger than the other two and so was hard to estimate what time to allow to complete.”

“Informative course. What I would say is that the 1st mock assessment after module 4 asked questions about content that had not been covered until module 5 (ie fire / manual handling) so I had to guess the answers!”

Many thanks for your feedback, Amanda. We placed the mock assessment there so that it would get students thinking about the topics ahead of the detailed content. Ie checking current understanding. But in light of your feedback, we've moved it to after module 5. Thanks again, your feedback is appreciated.

“The course was thorough and well presented. The presentations were easy to follow and full of good content. The assessments part way through also gave a chance to check up on information and learn or retrace past learning to secure the knowledge.”

“Prompt responses from HSQE and next-day feedback on my end of course project. Only criticisms would be that the presentation content on IOSH Managing Safely can be a bit 'laggy', and during the quizzes it would be useful to see the correct answers where I had answered incorrectly.”

Thank you for your feedback Adekunle. Sorry that you did not get through on the phone. Our phone lines are open Monday-Friday 0900-1700hrs. If all our operators are busy, you can leave a message and one of the team will call back within those times. But support via email is available seven days a week between the hours of 0900-2100hrs. It sounds like you may have contacted us outside the telephone support time.

“Overall I enjoyed it. The only real problem was the section featuring guards. The information wasnt available in the text in order for you to complete the required sentence. You needed to know something about guards to complete without guessing”
