“The content was well organized amd easy to understand. No issues with the website even with my questionable internet I was able to complete the modules with no issues. The end of course project could have been a little more clear but at the end, the tutors were very helpful and pointed out the ways of my errors. Overall very good course!”

“I thought the course was sufficiently taxibg to make it a valid qualification. The only part that was less interesting was the smaller sections of module 5. It might be useful to have some more interaction after the video, whereby the candidate could select from a list that included hazards that werent there. Definitely not a giveaway course.”

“The course was detailed and comprehensive without being overwhelming. It was presented clearly and concisely without being patronising. My only gripe is that the certification upon successful completion is not instant. An undetermined amount of time is required between completion of the course and receipt of the certification - which is also being sent by post rather than email, which of course will take even longer to arrive.”

Thank you for your feedback Grant. Just to explain, that is the only part of the process that sits with the approval body, rather than us as the training provider. For our part, you should have received your results within 24 hours of submitting your final project. We notify the approval body at the same time that we notify you of your results. The gap you refer to is how long it takes the approval body to confirm our recommendation for a pass and send the certificate to us. Once we receive it we send it out by first class signed-for delivery. We can also send you a scanned copy if that helps you. Just let the tutor team know if you want to do that. While it doesn't help you right now, we are working with the approval body of that course to get the certification system digitised for the future.

“The course was broken down into all the modules and you can go back to each if there's anything you are unsure on. I was able to to complete the course in my spare time at work and could do as much as I could during the time I had.”

“I found the course and communication from HSQE excellent. They kept me informed at each step which was very comforting. I can not comment on the tutors as I did not require the use of them. Overall the course was easy to follow and logical in each step building confidence and skill at the same time.”
