“Course was very good. Short and directly to the point of interest for managerial personnel whom require (or desire) training and knowledge on safety. I already have my OSHA 30, EM 385 and Hazwoper 40. This is an extended information for me pertains specifically to EU stats.”

“I found the course very interesting, easy to follow, and very imformative. The assessments were helpful in assessing my knowledge of the modules, as were the task lists. I could fit the course in with my work commitments which was brilliant. I look at the work place quite diffently as I do when I am out and about.”

“I thought the course was well structured. Some things can be overlooked by people but I thought that module 5 was a good reminder of how the health and safety of people can be affected, not only by the obvious (confined spaces, manual handling and noise which need to be closely monitored in our laboratories) but other parts such as the bullying, house keeping, slips,.... The video showing hazards was clearly showing a lot of issues, which I can only believe was done on purpose for this course, though it did make me look around our work environment and realise that some of these hazards were present here and people most likely did not notice them anymore. It did make me clear up my desk and question a few other things around. That's why I decided to do an RA on the office rather than the labs where I work as this is the area where people are most likely more complacent and assume everything is safe when actually it is not. Just the simple fact that we share food cooling and warming equipment can be a big issue for people who have high allergy. Again in the laboratory we have in place very strict rules regarding equipment that gets hot to avoid burns while in the office we probably overlook a simple kettle.”

Thank you, Claire. That's so true! Often the perceived 'lesser' risks are overlooked, especially when there’s an obvious 'significant' risk is the workplace, which is strictly controlled.

“Very user-friendly service and easy to use giving just the right amount of time to study and take in all the information. Found the course interesting and informative. Would recommend this online study. On-line courses can become dull but this keeps the interest going. By the end, you feel like you have learned something and are excited to put your new knowledge into practice.”
