“I thoroughly enjoyed completing my IOSH Managing Safely course with HSQE. I thought the powerpoint presentations were professionally written and very user friendly and the course flowed well. Very good value for money and quick response with my results. I will definitely be taking more courses with HSQE.”

“The course was easy to access, easy to understand and thorough. The final assignment was a good assessment of my understanding. I like the subjects being broken down into smaller, more manageable chunks. It was good to be able to track my progress through the course and the ability to leave and come back to it at a later date was useful.”

“Have just completed the IOSH Safety for Executives and Directors e-course. Its well laid out, the content is focused and each module as a summary to complete before moving on. The final submission of 'commitments' helps to bring it all together and to reinforce the responsibility of good H&S practice.”

“Well structured course. I think potentially putting in more in-depth mock tests a little earlier would help further with the final test and also help cement some of the knowledge built up from the slideshows. It's difficult to read constantly for as long as the course requires you to.”

“A great experience - I sat a 4 day residential course 6 years ago with another training company and it was extremely expensive. HSQE's online course was very flexible (I could do it from home). The service from HSQE was excellent - always informative and quick responses to questions.”

“The value of this course cannot be matched. I couldn't believe the price it was at and it worked so well for me being able to do it in my free time as I don't think I would of been able to do it otherwise. It is well put together and the information was laid out in a way that I found easy to take in. The tutors were good too and really helped me out when I was struggling to complete my project to the standard needed. Couldn't recommend enough.”

“Course was very comprehensive and clearly laid out steps and logic to creating a risk assessment etc. However there were numerous spelling mistakes and the wording of the quizzes and test questions was sometimes so poor it was difficult to decide what the question actually was, not in the sense it was deliberate to test you but that you could be inadvertently caught out. An idea of the length of each module or a progress display would help fit it in around existing work more easily. Some of the presentations on aspects of risk, eg asbestos, buildings, lighting could be amalgamated to avoid repetition and make the course less onerous, some of them had blank pages/wouldn't load at all.”

Many thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately the wording of the assessments is set by IOSH so we have limited ability to change them. Similarly, the structure of the modules is set by the IOSH syllabus so we have limited ability to change that. But if you could let us know what questions / modules you are referring to, we'll feed that back to IOSH so that they are aware of it. The course has been running for 3 years now and we thought all the typos were removed. Again, if you can recall any we'll get them seen to. We are in the process of updating all our courses at the moment and we will be incorporating a progress bar within a module that will supplement the existing check boxes. Great feedback though. Thanks for taking the time to provide that.

“Hi, I found the team helpful and also listened as I had rushed the final course assessment due to work load, then went into the second attempt by accident. I then had to do the course again in it's entirety, serves me right, made me remember more. Enjoyed it.”
