“I recently completed the Managing Safely in Construction course. As it's all online I was able to study at my own pace whenever I wanted.The layout of the modules made for easy progression , I took notes as I went which helped me absorb the information. The end of course assessment is quite thorough , I needed the allocated fifty minutes to complete it, if you are unsure of an answer you can mark it to return later and move on to the next one. I did this with three questions and returned to them to think about them with the last ten minutes I had left, do don't waste time move on. Good communication from John and his team and providing a good product. I would recommend HSQE to anyone. Thanks.”

“This online course was very informative, and extremely beneficial to those wishing to learn more about the practical side of managing H&S. There was great support from the team at HSQE if required. The slide deck used for all the modules was very well prepared with 7 x useful exercises and 2 x assessments along the way to the final exam. Thank you, I would highly recommend HSQE to anyone wishing to take any of the modules. I certainly will be suing them again for further training.”

“The project was amazing! and so useful I loved the case studies it made everything relatable. also a good use of photos ( some of the courses I have done previously are just pages and pages of works).”

“The course was really easy to follow and understand, I was able to go through it at my own convenience and at my own pace, and repeat any section I wasn't sure of, the support was great. I received a really fast reply to any emails sent to the tutors. I would recommend this to anyone who is considering the course.”

“As this was a course you had to do online it was something that I would keep putting off. so the time you had to complete it in ended up the last 4-5 weeks before the time was out. I think there should be an email sent out on a regular basis to try and motivate you into getting on and completing the course or a least prompting you that the count down has begun and you have so many days left to complete. when I started though I did enjoy doing the work.”

Many thanks Simon. This is a tough one for us. For every person that needs a bit of motivation and welcomes a gentle reminder, there is a person (or two) that takes exception to it! The current setup is that after sending out the initial welcome emails, we wait for the student to contact us if they have any questions. If we do not hear anything, we send a reminder 4-6 weeks before the course is due to end. Given your feedback, we are going to run a trial where we send out a communication between the welcome and the 4-6 week warning. If it goes well, we will extend it both in terms of coverage and frequency. Thanks again!
