"Hold Barnes & Dicks saved my bacon \ud83e\udd53. I live in the States and was traveling to London after a vacation in Greece. I traveled with a new pair of trial contacts and my backup pair of eye glasses.\r\nUnfortunately, the trial contacts paid not work out (purchased in Texas). My left eye has very poor astigmatism and it couldn\u2019t stay focused. And then, just my luck, my glasses went missing. This was a terrible scenario.\r\nI had tickets to a soccer match, and couldn\u2019t see. I was stuck. Surely no storefront in the great Island of Britain could find lenses for any frame. \r\nAs luck would have it, after calling dozens upon dozens of optical stores, I finally called Hodd Barnes & Dickins. In 24 hours they had my very particular lenses ready to fit in one of their frames. \r\nIt was certainly not the cheapest pair of frames and lenses, but, they were worth every pence or penny I paid. \r\nFantastic staff that helped me in a very critical-timely fashion.\r\nMy wife loves the frames! I owe you guys a debt of gratitude.\r\nThank you very much for saving my trip. I could not have enjoyed the Old Trafford without your help.
