“I came across Grisport for the first time when searching for wide fitting boots online. I bought the Kelso Air Active boots as walking shoes and Aztec boots for serious walking. Both pairs were beautifully made but sadly I had to send back the Aztec ones. Phone advice on a replacement pair was excellent, and I now have Peak lander boots that fit well and I'm pleased with. The Kelso boots were perfect, beautifully comfortable straight out of the box. The accessory pack is a nice touch. In short, excellent boots and service for a reasonable price. Thank you Grisport!”

“I bought my new Grisport Lady Trident walking shoes out of desperation, a little over a week before I was due to walk a marathon. My old walking shoes were on their last legs and during my training walks my feet were achy at only 15 miles. I knew you shouldn’t buy new shoes so close to an event but I had no choice so took a punt. I walked in them daily for the week I had them and had no niggles so walked the marathon in them yesterday. Not a single blister or mark on my feet by the end and they were comfy throughout. These shoes really are comfy straight out of the box! I can’t recommend them highly enough.”

“Bought as they were one of the very few makes offering a wide fit. They are extremely well made, solid Vibram soled, waterproof membrane lined and have a soft leather inner. The laces are excellent - they don’t come undone! A minor point - they are quite heavy. Highly recommend. Am now looking for a lighter weight summer version.”

“I recently purchased a pair of black Peaklander boots size 11 to replace previous Berghaus boots and Zamberlan boots. Very impressed with the quality and thickness of the leather, a very supportive protective boot, instantly comfortable and true to size. Comparative quality and weight to the Zamberlan boots, slightly heavier but sturdier than the Berghaus. Perfect for rough or uneven ground and at 16 stones and 6 foot, ideal for my stature. I treated with a full coat of Kiwi black boot polish prior to first wear. Only owned for two weeks but very impressed so far. Appears to be a high quality product.”

They are so comfortable and the quality of the leather is excellent. I could not be more impressed, my Grisport boots are extremely comfortable, not too large worn with thick socks and are completely waterproof. “I ordered my boots online and they arrived on time. I was pleased to receive a few goodies with my order too! Ive had Grisport boots before but they were worn out after much use. I took my new boots to the Lake District and did two big days walking, up The Old Man Of Coniston. The boots were extremely comfortable from the get go, no rubbing or discomfort. They were supportive and waterproof and felt very light on my feet. I like the design, the colour and general appearance of the boots. I will definitely be buying a light weight pair for next summer. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone, especially if you have a narrow foot and heel/ankle, as i do. Great!”

Sent them an e-mail on their web site 6 weeks ago with 4 questions ???? Still awaiting an answer. Cheers!! Gavin, thanks for your comments and fair enough you seem to have replied to my original e-mail. If you read it I asked four questions and two were answered, replacing the sole wasn't nor was longevity. Constructively and for your info. I also purchased a heavier pair of boots from a competitor and they guarantee certain of their soles for 5000 miles, I will however consider you again when replacing other footwear because I think you have some good products. I'll give you 3 stars which I consider fair. Geoff”
