Down To Earth is a multi-disciplined company offering specialist arboricultural contracting and consultancy throughout Kent and South East London.

Established in 1980 by Glenn Morris, and as one of the pioneering companies helping to establish the Arboricultural Association approved contractor scheme, we’ve grown into the largest tree contracting company in Kent securing an impressive array of clients in both the domestic and commercial sectors.

The successful merger with Greencut Horticulture in 2016 resulted in the creation of a large company that not only has the infrastructure to deal with any size job, but the modern back office systems that allow us to focus on a customer-centric model.

“The four man team did an excellent job on our large oak tree working very efficiently and tidying the site well before they left. We have used Down to Earth several times and will do so again. They are very professional.”

“Excellent job. They did everything I wanted and did it very well. They cleared up so well you wouldn't have known they had been there, including our neighbours garden where the tree overhung.”

“The estimate was given very promptly and was very reasonable. The team of 2 turned up promptly, carried out their work professionally and tidied everything up before they departed. Couldn't fault Down to Earth and we'll definitely use them again.”

“Professional, friendly and efficient service at all stages. A detailed quote was given and kept to. The work was carried out to a high standard and the long tunnel of plastic sheeting used ensured that the hallway was protected from dirt and damage. Very pleased and will continue to use this company”

“Apart from initially forgetting to apply for planning permission there were no problems. The initial report on thre tree was very useful as was Alex’s advice. The tree work was done efficiently. Would definitely use them again”

“For many years, I have used this company and they have always provided a good service. The workmen are on time, polite, carry out their work efficiently, for a reasonable price. I always have my large Magnolia re-shaped every three years and is, again, looking excellent. Highly recommended.”

“Love the through-house tunnel, as we don't have external access to the rear garden - it solves what would otherwise be a major problem. As usual, the team arrived on time, discussed the planned work before starting, and cleared up before leaving.”
