“After more than a week my nematode order had failed to arrive and we shortly due to depart on holiday. I contacted Green Gardener's customer service. There was absolutely no quibble and they immediately despatched a replacement pack, which arrived within 48 hours. Royal Mail did eventually deliver the original pack, about a month after it was ordered and by which time the use by date had long expired. My only other observation is that it did take several attempts before I could get past the GG answering service to speak to someone. However, in spite of this slight problem, I'd happily use their services again.”

“I tried these in my garden to deal with a honeysuckle that had been attacked by woolly aphids. Speedy delivery, good instructions and two weeks later the aphids have been beaten off completely! It needs to be warm enough for the larvae if you're using them outdoors, but other than that this method works a treat, even the constant rain did not bother them.”

“First time excellent , but the last recent ladybirds seemed to have something wrong with them , they looked like they became disoriented and unstable on there legs continuously rubbing there heads with legs and a lot of the lava just died , I don’t know what or if I did anything wrong , it wasn’t that hot either , maybe a virus or something ? Shame really there cool little buggers , any help would help as I still have aphids pissing me and my chilli plants off 😂 thanks again tho”

“I received live ladybirds. Three however were dead. I followed the instructions, but had to put them outside in windy weather. I haven't see any of them since. But, wr don't have any aphids either. Sue”

“This is my ‘go to’ place for many needs in my garden as the treatments for problems are all organic and don’t contain harmful chemicals. The range of nematode treatments is really extensive now and I have had good successes with the slug, vine weevil and compost fly types. Also, I have purchased ladybirds and larvae but it is difficult to gauge their success as they disappear very rapidly!! My favourite product is SB Invigorator treatment for aphids which I find very effective mixed up with a bit of washing up liquid in a spray bottle. It also benefits plants as a foliar spray and you can see noticeably shinier healthier leaves after use. I used this to treat a very sick apple tree that was infested with woolly aphids a few years ago. Regular spraying over several weeks ( difficult in summer when in full leaf - a backpack sprayer was used from a ladder by a strong friend!) resulted in complete clearance and so far, no repeats.”
