“A great company!I was so pleased I discovered them during lockdown.Since then I have added many more new plants for butterfly and bee and purchased a butterfly house and a well made bee box and a concrete bird box because a bumble bee nested in my present one usually used annually by blue tits.They also stock ladybird houses but I had to buy elsewhere for that as they were out of stock for some time.During this time I have ordered several tubs of butterfly caterpillars all developing into beautiful butterflies.I certainly recommend this company.”

“Almost half my ladybirds was dead on arrival, called up to be told I could only be given a partial refund of £4 and refused to send out more. When I complained about the packaging not even stating it had live in the envelope (a damn envelope! Was probably thrown around, stood on and all sorts on its way here) the phone was put down on me as I said I wouldn't use them again. I wouldn't even give one star tbh, how can you not care enough to make sure your ladybirds arrive in one piece? Ordered same size batch on eBay afterwards, all arrived alive, came in a box stating live on it and it was signed for. Maybe you should learn a thing or two from that experience? As I expected THAT eBay experience from a company called the Green Gardener tbh. Never again.”

“I ordered ladybird larvae and they arrived with clear instructions in a sealed box. I was supposed to have 50 but life is too short to count larvae so I trust they were all there. They were in good condition and in a week I should have ladybirds, that but is up to nature.”

“All the Green Gardener products that I have used, mainly nematodes and fertilizer, have been delivered on time and performed exactly as described on the website. They are reasonably priced and environmentally friendly. A couple of times I have contacted them for advice and have been given very helpful replies.”

“Ordered nematodes to deal with leatherjackets and chafer grubs. They arrived promptly and with a couple of weeks leeway on the ‘use by’ date so I was able to wait for suitable weather conditions. Birds had just started digging in lawn when applied - now seem to have stopped, so hopefully the nematodes have woken up!”
