“Green gardeners ladybirds are usually a good buy, this year I bought later, after their newsletter reminded me, and offered a good deal. I ordered Thursday night expecting delivery the following week, unfortunately they must have arrived Saturday as when I got home Sunday late they were there, and only 50% still alive. Shame, next time I'll order when I'm defo staying at home all week! 4 stars for service etc, 1 star off as 50% died after 3 days in packaging (I've had live ones fine longer previous years, so this year's feed strip must have been bad)”

“When ladybirds arrived the half of them were dead”

From : Jonathan – jon@greengardener.co.uk Thanks for the message and apologies for the dead ladybirds. The packaging is well tested and it normally gives us very good results and despite sending out hundreds of lots a week I get very few problems. Ladybirds are veracious predators and sometimes they will turn on each other and eat each other, so I suspect that is what happened this time. Please email me and I can either refund or replace them. Yours sincerely and apologies again Jonathan Green Gardener www.greengardener.co.uk

“2 of the lady birds were dead on arrival. The morning after I put them on to the rose bush I found some dead after being captured by spiders. I haven't seen any lady birds since. Really really gutted, after being so excited when I received them :-(”
