“Ordered nematodes to deal with leatherjackets and chafer grubs. They arrived promptly and with a couple of weeks leeway on the ‘use by’ date so I was able to wait for suitable weather conditions. Birds had just started digging in lawn when applied - now seem to have stopped, so hopefully the nematodes have woken up!”

“I have 31 runner bean canes and at the end of June realised that I had a massive incidence of black fly aphids. I ordered Lady Bird Larvae from Green Gardner and also had a long telephone conversation with a lady at the company who gave me very helpful advice. At first it seemed that the aphids would overwhelm the runner beans and that I might have to spray them. However 100 Lady Bird larvae proved to be very successful and after 2 weeks started to mature into Lady Birds. I believe the majority of the larvae did survive and grow and I am very happy with the outcome. I would add that the larvae should be deployed in the cooler evening as opposed to the hot sunny part of the day.”

“I don't have a garden just lots of pots and didn't fancy spraying insecticide. Ordered ladybirds and larvae and kids enjoyed the experience of releasing them then trying to spot them days after. Aphids have decreased too.”

“I'm not criticising the company but the product, nematodes for scarid fly and a soil coating of granules meant to deter the adults, didn't work at all. I see the flys settling on the granules and clearly breeding as we are now inundated with the flies.”

“The Ladybirds arrived quickly and were all alive. They did a good job with reducing the black fly population on our dahlias but disappeared before starting on the green fly. I hope they come back to hibernate in our insect house.”

Thanks for the review and I have checked and we have not had any emails from you about the order. It was posted on the 14th July and delivered by tracked 24 service on the 15th? Could someone have popped it somewhere safe? Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener

“Ordered 500 ladybird Larvae. They told me that a maximum of three day delivery would apply to Ireland. Due to an error at their end, there was a 48 hour delay in dispatch, resulting in the Larvae being in transit for 6 days. Consequently, they were all dead on arrival. Green Gardner did refund my money (except postage) But from an animal welfare view, not good.”
