“Really disappointed with this company. The items I purchased where bought in good faith, including a special offer deal, which comprised of three items, an apron, oven gloves and tea towel, which was promoted on their website as a bundle deal. It was also described as the same on the confirmation invoice after purchase. There were confirmation emails, dispatch emails, all as expected.
However, when the parcel arrived, only the apron was sent. When I queried this I was told I had only paid for the apron and there was an error with this item on their website. The bundle deal, was never actually a deal, it didn't exist! Surely this is false advertising? They have refused to honour the "on offer bundle deal" I bought. I feel really let down and disappointed.
Apparently you can't believe what their website says, so don't necessarily expect to receive the items you have paid for, or for them to honour their side of the deal if they make an error! Really poor customer service given the circumstance. Why was I not contacted when the error was realised? Why did I have to ring you? Surely you should have made contact as soon as you realised your mistake?”
Thank you for your review, i am very sorry that we were unable to send the Wrendale apron, tea towel and oven glove set to you, as ordered. As per our conversation, regrettably, there was a glitch in our system that prevented all the items from being sent as a set, and on this occasion, you were only charged for and only received the apron. As this was a technical issue, we were unaware that this had happened before you contacted us, we would, of course, have let you know before dispatching your order. We have now removed the bundle items from our Campus Gifts website to prevent this from happening again. As advised, we have emailed a pre-paid returns label to send the apron back to us if you wish.
