Hi Pete, I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve just checked the engrave file and it looks perfect on our side. The way they are engraved means that the definition isn’t really variable. It is basically binary and is all sharp edges! It will almost certainly be the ink pad you are using. We recommend the tsukineko brand, specifically the versafine range are best for fine detail.
