“Was surprised how large the letters were on my address stamp, and think that the photos on the website don't reflect this at all. Actually the address was too large for personal stationary. Good quality stamp, good ink pad though small for stamp, and clear letters, but just too big.”

“Tried all ways to get this to stamp even, I've used stamps for years as used to make hand crafted stationery but not overly impressed to be honest and pretty expensive to now just sit in a drawer.”

Hi Tracey, Hope you are well! I'm gutted to hear that the stamp is giving you trouble. I wanted to email because I checked your artwork and it’s basically the perfect image for using as a stamp so I am completely confident that we will be able to help you get a better impression. I am actually so confident in the artwork that I would say used correctly it would be possible to get a perfect impression literally every time! Especially with the onyx black ink pad which really is the best in the business. Could you possibly send me a photo of the result you are getting and I’ll see if I can figure out what might be going wrong? You mention your experience with stamps and so if this was down to a fault with the stamp we would also like the opportunity to investigate and save you from an expensive paperweight! “Not too happy, it was meant to be 5 cm x 5cm But they shrunk the space between the lines and even the size of the logo. Disappointing”

Hi Josie, I'm sorry to hear you aren't happy with your stamp. I'm a little confused by the shrinking thing. The stamp is your exact image that you designed without any changes at the 5cm that you ordered? The way you have designed it is not 5cm by 5cm though, it measures 5cm by 4cm. If you were hoping that we would adjust the spacing or would enlarge the logo for you, these are definitely things we could have done but we would need them to be requested before we made the stamp as if no notes are added to the order we need to assume that the order should match the design as is. “The stamp is great but the lettering for my website address was too small, obviously my measurements were way out. It would have been nice if someone could have told me it was too small to be visible, I would have not minded paying more for the larger size.”

Hi Sophie, I'm sorry to hear that the stamp is smaller than you would like. It should just match your artwork at the size ordered. If we ever think of a better way to indicate the size of the stamp without compromising on the freedom of design for people who want or need small stamps then we will certainly implement it. Just in case it is of any use, I have just looked at your stamp and I am confident that it should stamp well (although of course, it is the size it is). I notice you didn't order an ink pad from us so if you wanted to try and improve the result you are getting I would recommend getting a Versafine ink pad if you haven't got one already. They are the best ink pads available for fine detail and so are usually the best option for small text. “The product itself is good, but communication could definitely be improved. I ordered two stamps and received no form of communication whatsoever. No confirmation email, no order in progress email, no dispatch email, nothing. The stamps arrived within five days which is an excellent turnaround - no complaints there - but again the box was simply the stamps without any 'thank you for your business' type message to be seen. It may seem like I am being unduly harsh criticising the order process when the product itself is good, but I feel a more personal approach would have made such a difference. It would also have reassured me that my order had actually been received.”

Hi James, Thanks for the feedback. Sorry to hear you weren't receiving our emails. We do send them all! I would imagine that they are either in your junk mail folder or that your email client might be bouncing them. It's a fairly common issue for smaller businesses but there is regrettably nothing that can be done from it aside from hoping to one day be large enough that the email clients recognise that it is not sales spam. “The design I sent was transferred really well but the whole design doesn't stamp perfectly ever. You either get the edges of the stamp in with it or the writing on my design doesn't come through with it. The wood on the handle is quite cheap feeling too.”

Hi Becky,    Thanks for the review. I’m sorry to hear the stamp is giving you trouble that certainly shouldn’t be the case. If you reach out to us through email (us@getstamped.co.uk) we can try and figure out why this might be. As long as the surface is perfectly flat and the stamp is inked up properly you should be able to get a perfect impression every time. Also just incase there is any confusion the handle is made of oak!

“All in all a good standard of service .. I emailed and received a speedy and detailed response .. Ordering was easy . It was a shame that one of the 2 Vegan stamps that I ordered arrived with rough wooden edges . The 2nd Vegan stamp was bought as a present for a friend . I kept the rough one and gifted the smooth one . I have not used either stamp as yet so I can not comment further .”

“Hi, I used to make marking punches, hot foil blocking dies, paper cutters and the like so I am probably a little too critical. It does the job and works well for the price. One of the first things I did though when it came out the box was to trim the handle/holder as I felt there was too much material around the logo that could have picked up ink & transferred to the paper. This extra material also makes it difficult to position.”

“I think the stamp looked so beautifully made but after using it a number of times the wood on the stamp side started to look stained and it was hard to get a good clean mark from it.”
