Hi Aidan, I'm sorry to hear that. I notice you didn't buy an ink pad from us so I can't comment on the quality of the pad you are using. “The Stamp is of excellent quality and has excellent clarity. The only thing that I am disappointed in and it would have been helpful if this was mentioned in the description is the following: I have jewellery cards that I needed to stamp which have a very slight sheen to them and the ink refuses to dry on them which means I can not either use the stamp or the cards which I have a lot of. None of the above would stop me from ordering another one but, I would only expect it to work on matt surfaces in the future.”

Hi Alison, Thank you for the kind words! Just to say you might have better luck with the stazon ink pad which we also stock. It's got ink in it designed for tricky surfaces like plastic and glass so should be able to handle cards with a slight sheen as well. Hope that helps! Many thanks, Henry
