Hello Kevin, looking at your policy I can see that the documents are set to be sent via your chosen delivery method which is email. They wouldn't be posted as a result. Not very happy! The renewal price from Hastings showed a 28.5% increase from previous years premium in spite of no claim. Had to go to Quidco Comparison site to get a lower price for same insurance cover with an added cashback reward!!!

Seems ok so far. Price was good, much better than previous company. App works quite well. Can’t really comment until I need to claim. Hopefully I won’t need to.

Easy to navigate online policy but disappointed that there has been no confirmation or paperwork saying the policy is in force, no certificate of insurance has been received

I like the company and services but the prices are too dear i was paying 46 a month last year now paying 63.40 and i have 5 years no claims and not mafe a claim feel like being ripped off

Renewal prices are very poor. I got the same level of cover on a price comparison website. When my renewal was due. So not renewing and buying another policy from scratch saved me money.

Hello Colin, I'm sorry to see that the renewal itself wasn't competitive on this occasion. Hastings Direct is a broker that works on behalf of a number of underwriters and also provides a few levels of cover. This means that prices can vary internally and appear cheaper online or in the call centre. It's good to see that you have since been able to find more competitive cover for your vehicle. ~Theo

My payment in for my ISA was twice sent back and I was not immediately notified. I therefore lost the opportunity to invest in a 2022/23 ISA.

Great service, price and concept, but the hastings app has a lot of problems and I can never access my driver data, I go to log in and the app doesnt load

Hello Scott, I'm very sorry to read about the experience that you've had. The app has been down over the past few days and has affected a lot of our customers. The relevant department has been working to resolve this issue so hopefully normal functionality will return soon. They have suggested, uninstalling the app, clearing the cache and cookies and then reinstalling it. This has worked for other customers. I really needed to talk to a human but couldn’t find a way. I had 8 years no claims last year but Hastings only gave me one. I have no way of getting this sorted. For the less technical person this is not a good way to buy insurance. Apparently I have breakdown cover but I have no idea how or where to access it. I have used reviews to afl for a human to call me but no success

I have had a policy with Hastings in the past and was disappointed when it came for renewal and I now just go for the lowest cost shame no loyalty anymore.

Seems odd to me that although I am driving less miles than previous years, my premiums have gone up.
