Had a problem with keep plate being smaller than original. Two separate e mails plus filled in their contact form brought zero replies. After sales is totally non existent, very disappointed.

Found these on a search for a gearbox I needed but wanted advice before ordering. I called around 7 times over two days and left voicemails. Still no response. I was ready to set up a trade account but sales and technical support don’t answer so I’ve gone elsewhere

Ordered the wrong size Ys170 35mm gear box replacement in September,I have phoned and emailed the company on numerous occasions to try get exchanged for a 45mm and had no response from them in 6 weeks. Fast delivery but their customer service afterwards has been rubbish. I had to then buy a second gearbox to get my customers door sorted and have been left stuck with the original one

Order has not arrived, paid for next day delivery and it is still not here. Have tried phoning the company and nobody answers, now waiting to see if I get a response to my email. Poor customer service.

Handles perfect but wish I used my own screws as yours cracked the glass and will now have to be replaced at a considerable cost

I ordered 4 wind Espag locks. Three days later, I was told they were not in stock and order cancelled. Really need to sorry stock control on website.

Company would not answer phone to talk directly to me. Left several messages, they did not phone me back. I e- mailed them a few times about hinges I required and asked technical questions about them . They blocked my number then. Definetly would not use this company now or recommend them to anyone else to do so.

Given one star for prompt delivery , other than that very disappointing experience. Ordered a letter box that's turned out to be very poor quality , very flimsy and poorly made. I Want to return for a refund but that doesn't seem to be a easy process. I wouldn't recommend this company on this experience.

Window Gearboxes ordered were badly packaged and arrived damaged, but also damaged my flooring. They said they'd refund my payment but nothing else but still chasing payment (having to go through bank now). Shame as their dispatch was quick and the items ordered looked like they would have been good. Unfortunate incident which doesn't reflect other people's experience so hoping this is just a one-off.

Ordered products on Wednesday & paid for next-day delivery however we did not receive the parts the next-day and these eventually arrived 3 days late. When I contacted customer service I was advised they cannot guarantee next day delivery via couriers ........Why offer a next-day delivery if this cannot be achieved?

I precisely measured my old lock and used the GB DIY internet guide to order a replacement. The replacement arrived very quickly. Although the principal dimensions of the lock I ordered were correct, the internals of the lock are incompatible with the locking mechanism. My requirements are for a gear-driven drop bolt which at the same time drives out the mortice. The replacement lock supplied has a separate RISING bolt rail driven by upward movement of the door handle, and the mortice is driven separately by the key. Nowhere on the GB DIY webpage for the principal dimensions measured does it state that there are different mechanisms available within the envelope dimensions. DIY's "Nathan" has told me that I've ordered the wrong lock. Because I've opened it to determine the differences in the internal mechanisms and photograph them for GB DIY, they won't accept returns. "Nathan" says that I have to send a photograph of my old lock, and he'll identify the correct lock, and I have to buy another. I've previously rated GB DIY highly, but this has to be a zero. The lock identifier page does not warn that there are different mechanisms within the described principal dimensioned lock drawings. I won't be buying any other item from GB DIY.

Hi Raymond. I'm sad to see the negative review after the support which I provided to you on this. The lock you purchased from is was not the one you needed. I did explain that in my email to you. The reason why the internal mechanisms are different is because your lock is a key wind mechanism and the one you ordered from us is not. I requested some images and more information from you so I could 100% confirm what part you needed but never received a response. Unfortunately we can't accept a return on your order because you have effectively dismantled the item. The item supplied to you was as described and exactly what you ordered. I'm sure it goes without saying that we cannot possibly accept returns on items when they have been tampered with like this, especially a door lock. We cannot put this item back into our stock as we cannot guarantee it's in full working order after you have opened it up. Had you contacted us prior to dismantling the item and let us know the item you received wasn't correct, we would have happily accepted a return for a full refund. Again, I'm sorry you felt the need to leave us a negative review despite all the help we offered. If you do still need assistance we're happy to help so please get in touch.

It takes me 40 minutes to get what I want. Most of the staff don't know material names. Materials whiteout paracord, with no prices. Actually I will think many times before going back to your store.

Products (trickle vents) arrived within a few days 👏 However, when I started fitting them, I saw they were of pretty poor quality, and 8 out of the 20 I bought, were broken and unusable ! I emailed the company, requesting a refund or replacement, but they have not replied !
