The team here has over 25 years experience in this industry, we have literally done it all. We started out manufacturing and installing windows and doors and slowly progressed in to repairs. Now, we offer a very extensive range of repair parts for windows and doors.

“Being honest I received a great service, let down by no customer service phone that’s answered, I rang three consecutive days, all in working hours. ‘Chatz’ was answered via email after 24hrs and was very helpful.”

“The GB DIY store had the item i wanted and delivered it very quickly. The item was an exact match for the Mila multipoint door locking mechanism, and was delivered very quickly. I was not aware from the store website details that I would need to adapt the existing door mechanism to enable the new lock to work (cutting a small piece of the latching area away) Fortinately I found this out on the good old Internet and it works fine!”

Thanks for sharing your experience! It sounds like for the most part we did well other than some missing details on our item page. The issue you came across is very uncommon and not something that needs to be done on most of these locks. The version of the lock you have has a slightly different arm mechanism than the majority out there and that has meant you needed to make this adjustment. We purposefully omit this from our item page as we found when we did include it, it caused more confusion as it wasn't relevant information to 99% of people looking to purchase this part. That being said, we will certainly take your feedback on board and should this become a more regular occurrence we will add this information to the item page. “The problem is me - elderly with poor IT skills. You have what I want but choose to splash a random load of stuff over the website and I can’t find what I want. A simple alphabetical listing would get me there neatly and without all the clutter. I don’t want stuff I don’t want flashed up and moving about the place. Door sealing strip bloody ACE ! Thanks !”

“I had a broken back door handle (internals) .Went to the original suppliers who referred us to another parts company who advised me to look online. So after much searching found that you were the only company who had anything that remotely looked possible! This was quickly sent by yourselves and even though not exactly as original it fitted the ‘internals’ and has been operating successfully ever since. So many thanks.”
