“The lettering on the badge was off to one side ad the item was very small too. On the plus side, it arrived quickly but it is not fit for purpose hence the low score.”

“Two products out of 12 ordered were faulty. Unfortunately, I realised the second of the two, at a later than when I queried the first. This was because it was a gift for someone else and they realised that it was faulty. When I enquired about the first item, Jason was swift to deal with me, and sent another one. BUT... when I then thank him for a quick turn around but sadly there is a second item to report, I heard nothing back for each of the three attempts.”

“My order was received in good time and in good condition (which is what earns the 2 stars) but once it arrived I realised the quality was not to the standard I expected. So I returned it in perfect condition within two weeks (as per the returns section of the website) and am yet to receive my refund. I emailed a week ago enquiring about the status of my refund and have heard nothing back. Disappointed as a member of the queer community who wanted to support a business that donates to queer charities but I feel let down by the standards of service.”

“Unfortunately I was disappointed with the bracelet I bought. I got the lesbian rainbow bracelet so I was hoping that it would be suitable for a female wrist but it’s a male sized bracelet with a lesbian glad clasp. Disappointed.”

“Had to pay customs and this was never said in the whole purchase process. In the end I paid more than twice the costs of the product due to shipping costs and customs. Wont buy again. The product itself was open with cards out of the case. Dont know if this happened at customs but it was not a big point because the cards were not damaged.”

Hello Sorry your order is delayed by the Royal Mail strikes that have taken place this week and last week. We do have this information on the top of every page on our website, that orders will be delayed due to the strikes. We also have this information on every product page in the section 'how long will deliveries take'. Hopefully there will be some agreement made in the strikes too, and Royal Mail can return to offering the service they used to. Regards Jason

Hello You know this review isn't the truth. You asked us to change the delivery of this item at the last minute to your student halls address. The tracking shows this was then received and signed for, but you then tried to pretend it hadn't arrived.

“I ordered a signed copy of a book, and received an unsigned copy. "Signed" was crossed out by hand on my delivery note - but no apology or note/follow up email was sent, which was a shame.”

“I love physically visiting your shop in Afflecks, however when I came in last weekend we couldn't visit your shop as he floor was closed. I wanted bunting and flags for this weekend Pride, so I made an online order. I still waiting for the order and Pride is over!”

Hi Jason Sorry you felt this is a 2 star review :-( The second floor of Afflecks isn't open on a Sunday, although we have been asking the management there to allow us to for over 2 years. Thankfully, from the start of November we will then be able to open on Sundays until Christmas, and then new doors are being built for us next year, which will allow us to open our shop permanently on a Sunday :-) Thanks Jason

“I’m very sad to say that yet again I’ve had an issue with my order with the gay pride shop. I was sent the wrong order and contacted customer services nearly a week ago and haven’t heard back. I really wanted to shop with a pride company that gives back to lgbtq+ charities instead of buying from larger retailers like Amazon however it seems like it would have to be the better option for me in the future.”
