“I took five armbands to the World Cup in Qatar ! My friend and I wore them and we suffered abuse from one person on the way to the ground for disrespecting their country. At the ground for the England v USA game we were told we were not allowed in unless we removed the armbands . A fifa official registered a complaint. The following day at the Australia v Tunisia game I was taken to a cubicle and surrounded by three people and forced to remove the armband to be allowed entry . It was thrown away by the police. I think one was also stolen from my room. Uncomfortable conduct in Qatar and provoked an angry reaction among some people. Tony Wilson”
