Avoid Gardenbox. It has been close to 2 months now, and we still have not received what we ordered. When we ordered, it showed all items to be "in-stock". Only when we didn't hear from them for a week did they tell us that they are waiting for a shipment from the manufacturer. Generally, their communication and customer support is terrible. Rick specifically has been condesending and refused to email us. They brag about having show room and staff who pick up the phone, but they are impossible to actually contact. They fail to respond to basic email requests. They promise to send an update, then never actually follow up. Throughout the entire process they have provided incorrect or misleading information time and again. For example, their "2-man delivery", that takes the very heavy item "anywhere on the property" is a lie. At best it would take it to your driveway for an extra £80, and whish you good luck moving it yourself where you actually need it. If you want to actually receive your item, avoid this seller. There are many others selling the exact same things. Avoid Gardenbox.

We are genuinely sorry that your order has not been completely fulfilled in the original lead time advertised. For public transparency, the bbq was delivered on time and the customer is missing an accessory. We have attempted to ring the customer numerous times to offer them an apology, compensation and to discuss an alternative accessory or to provide a refund, and the customer will not accept a phone call and prefers to communicate via email. The customer received a full refund of the two man service charge once it was ascertained that the service was not possible to their location requested. Every effort was made and the BBQ was successfully delivered to the customer on time to meet their deadline, the missing accessory was advised to be in stock and available from the manufacturer. The manufacturer’s information was incorrect, they have failed to supply the missing accessory twice by providing inaccurate lead times. The missing accessory will be delivered to the customer once the part is available, which will be within a couple of weeks, all of which has been fed back to the customer. The customer has communicated with us via email using rude, abusive, inappropriate and disrespectful language and yet will not talk to us for us to offer an alternative, compensation or a refund of the missing item. We are sorry that you have felt the need to leave reviews across a variety of platforms, yet you have received your bbq, on time, and we are doing everything available to us to fulfil the missing accessory.

I ordered a cover for my Masterbuilt 560 in April. When I placed the order I was not informed they were out of stock and after 1 month of waiting I contacted Garden Box Ltd to be informed they were waiting on stock bit I should receive it very soon. Fast forward to July still waiting and radio silence from Garden Box Ltd despite 3 emails. Finally I got through on the phone and I received a voicemail from Rick the boss apologising as apparently the covers had been in stock sent out to all those waiting expect me. He told me I would receive in the next few days. As of today 14/08/20 I’ve still not received my cover and when I contacted them again oops they forgot to send it but will put it in the post today. Shocking contempt for their customers and if I’d known how bad they were I’d have bought from the company who supplied my grill.

Warning - don’t use these guys - I placed an order in April for some garden furniture (£649 worth!) and after them missing delivery dates twice (and now only saying maybe late July!!) I’ve asked for this to be cancelled, but they’re now not responding to any emails or calls. Rick, the manager, will not reply or refund my money so now I’m having to go to the bank for claw back and / or start legal action. Do not buy online or order goods with them - they do not give accurate information on delivery dates and will happily ignore you if you want help. Still waiting for my refund Rick!! DO NOT USE THEM FOR ONLINE ORDERING!
