Toaster was faulty as toasted unevenly as one side hardly toasted and the other toasted, had it replaced still uneven but not as bad and couldn’t be bothered returning again. Now only two slices of bread can be toasted as one safe doesn’t work! Kettles lid keeps lifting when switched on and takes several attempts to shut. Tried to complain but apparently firm has gone into liquidation.

Sadly I wouldn’t recommend the kettle. I bought a cream kettle end of September and the on/off switch has become loose - effectively making it redundant. I have contacted the company but no response. It was a rather expensive mistake.

First kettle leaked massively from the spout. , replacement kettle now does not close , the catch mechanism on lid has failed , noisy , cheaply built Chinese waste of money. Not interested in exchanging it only fit for the bin . Would not recommend anyone to purchase this range of appliances

I bought the funky iron worked well for a time but steam stopped working They were most unhelpful and did nothing not even offering a repair Very very poor customer service Admitted today they are made in China so can’t repair it anyway !!!! Doesn’t mention this in various adverts of products it was not CHEAP at all so I’ve bought another iron different make obviously do not buy from this company worst customer service ever made in China now in the bin

Have used this steam iron a handful of times , then just cooled off abruptly during an ironing session .Absolute waste of money ,very poor quality product,disappointing.

I'm still trying to return my kettle and toaster which are undeniably funky but too big and imposing in my kitchen. Despite the assurance of being able to return if you change your mind, the customer service is elusive. Buyer beware!

Product described and shown as chrome, kettle and toaster arrive a dull bog standard silver nothing like what is shown. To return you are expected to pay the return postage cost for them to also deduct £7.50 from your refund to cover the cost of the original postage which is just ridiculous when it’s their fault for miss selling something that it’s been returned. So as customers you are double charged and penalised for a product you don’t have due to no fault of your own. Poor customer service would avoid this very expensive company at all costs the appliances are certainly not worth the money

The kettle is promoted as a quiet boil. My kettle of 9 years is quieter than the Funky appliance kettle. I cannot believe how loud the noise is when boiling. Having emailed their customer service, they said that was normal! Would definitely NOT recommend anyone purchase from them, don’t waste your money!

I had high hopes for The Funky Iron that I purchased online with the discount. Unfortunately it did something I would call a safety hazard and despite my numerous emails explaining what happened and requesting a refund, I basically was unsuccessful. When I first got the iron I read and followed all the instructions, I was very excited to use it. As I was using the iron for the second time correctly, a stream of water spurted out from the hole of the cover where you fill up the iron with water. Everytime I pressed down on the steam button this happened without actual steam coming from the soleplate of the iron. I checked that the green indicator button was ready for steam to be delivered and double checked I had the correct amount of water, which I did. I waited and tried again and the same thing happened and I purposely touched the water that spurted out and it was obviously extremely hot. Immediately I think I sent an email describing what had happened and explaining I wanted a refund and that was a safety issue because if a young child had just walked past, the hot stream of water could have scalded them. In reply to my email I was told the hole was there to let any air escape and that the water was cold water, or possibly I overfilled the tank, and that it was not a safety issue. No no no , I was very specific in my email and that with all the irons I have bought this had never happened before. So they gave me two choices, to receive a refund I either send a video of this problem happening or I guess a video of me using the iron to show it not happening or send back the iron to be tested by them. I challenged this because I felt that I just didn't want the iron anymore regardless of the outcome with a video or sending it back. If I have told you there is a safety issue, it means I do not want your item. The Funky Iron company did not back down and insisted I send it back for testing. I stated I would not do this and that I would not use their iron but buy another one. I also asked what would happen if I did video trying the iron again and the issue did not occur, would I not get my refund??? I decided to try the iron and video it....but the fault did happen. So my conclusion was they definitely would not refund me. I think I sent another email regarding this but never got a reply. I just think it is disgusting, that I have an iron and if I use it has a safety issue that could still happen. I was not happy at all and I never ever have to make a negative review about any item I have bought. I will not be buying anything from this company again.

I purchased the rose gold funky kettle, toaster and iron, a modern but retro, beautiful looking set. I did have an issue with the kettle whereby the open button did not always open. I contacted the Funky Team who were fabulously quick to respond and I am more than pleased that I have a replacement kettle on it's way within 24 hours of raising the issue. Excellent produts and unbeatable customer service to match. No wonder this company has many top reviews!! Would highly recommend this company

My kettle had an issue with switching on every time. I contacted them , they asked for a video and proof of purchase. And then I was given a replacement base and it works perfectly now. The customer service was outstanding! Responded very quickly to my emails. Will be buying the toaster next and probably the iron 😊🙏5/5
