We looked into this for you and advised that as the 1-2 working day shipping option had not been selected for your order, your order was being processed with our free shipping option and that it was being dispatched to our courier later that same day. We replied to you once your email had been seen and investigated and this was at 4.24pm on the same Friday that we received your initial message. I have not received my order. I saw a missed delivery leaflet from Royalmail stating that they’ll redeliver but that hasn’t happened. So where’s my order please? Thanks.

We have looked into this and can see that we processed and dispatched your order to Royal Mail on 22nd May and we sent you a message which contained the tracking details for the parcel at this time. We can see that Royal Mail tried to deliver this parcel to you on 24th May, but were not able to reach you. We are sorry that a second delivery attempt has not been made by Royal Mail. I have contacted Royal Mail for you and requested a redelivery of your parcel as soon as possible and this should be with you between now and the 6th June. I ordered Organic Black Mulberries - 6kg on 26/12/2023. The product seems good not checked. The parcel reached in time. The Packing is really appauling, the Black Mulberries were just put in a cardboard carton and taped. We would expect since yo are a renound food company your food consumable products you would put it in a plastic bag and then pack it it a carton. The Black Mulberries are sticking to the cartoon cardboard inside and is exposed to all weather conditions and are exposed to all the chemical of the carton as its not sealed in a plastic bag. I hope to get a good explanation for this, as our future orders with your establishment will not happen if this standards is managed by you. - Thanks

We can confirm that this product will normally have a food safe bag around the organic black mulberries in the BULK box which is missing on this occasion. As you have ordered a BULK pack from us, this comes directly from our supplier and is not opened by us, before being sent to our customers, which is why this has not been picked up from us. Another disappointment with the delivery. The website isn't particularly intuitive when you do a product search, but I could have overlooked this if there weren't any other issues. For background I have placed a total of five orders over a two month time period and had four deliveries. Order 1 delivered and goods spilling out of the packaging on delivery. Email sent with photos and forest foods feel the courier is to blame even though I advise that the packaging clearly isn't strong enough for the weight. Orders two and three could have been one order if it wasn't for the issues with the packaging. Therefore to work round this I placed orders two and three a few days apart and they were both delivered without incident. Orders 4 and 5 again were two separate orders, but I was short on time and had to place them on the same day. It took 5 days before the goods were dispatched and unfortunately forest foods decided to combine the orders which caused two problems. Firstly there was 'scented soap' ordered which I didn't want packaged with some of the dry goods (hence the separate orders) and secondly it made the order much too heavy not just for me but also the courier. So what happened when it came to delivery? Well, I received a text message at 7:30 am on a Saturday ( which I read at 8:20) to advise that delivery would be between 8:45 to 9:45 that day. Unfortunately on going outside at 8:30 (it had also been raining the night before, so the ground was wet and dirty), I discovered the courier had already been and left my delivery in the yard and my dry food goods were spilling out of the box all over the ground. So, because the box was too heavy and damaged I had to move the items one by one from outside to inside. And to add insult to injury the entire order smelt of the lavender soap I had ordered. As my email to the supplier about the packaging with order 1 appears not to have resulted in any changes I haven't bothered to email about the latest problems. Perhaps my review (which I was asked for in three seperate emails on the same day) will be more 'helpful'. So in summary for the benefit of other potential customers unless you wish to work around the suppliers packaging issues and take your chance with the courier you might want to think twice about placing an order. Which is a shame as the quality of the food seems good. Will I place another order? I will have to give it serious consideration, (it makes me feel tired just to think about it) as so far only 40 % of my orders have been delivered without issue, and have involved significant time, effort and organisation on my part which in my book isn't good odds and not what you expect from an online shopping experience...

I received vegetable bouillon which had a month less shelf life than the bouillon I ordered 6 months earlier. There's a serious stock rotation issue.

We believe that we have spoken with you about this concern and have explained that our organic vegetable bouillon contains vegetable oil as one of the ingredients. Oil can go rancid over time. This therefore means this our organic vegetable bouillon usually comes with a shorter expiry date than some of the other products that we stock. I think that I have wasted my money with Forest Foods as I purchased 4 Kg of Organic Aronia Berries but neither of the 4 x 1kg bags had any instructions about 1. How much to take each time? 2. How to take each time ie/with water, milk etc? 3. How often to take in 24 hours each day? Without your help in this direction, I dare not take any

Hi there Abid, Thank you for your review. Organic dried Aronia berries are a dried fruit and you may eat as little or as much as you like. If you are eating them to obtain a certain nutrient that you require we recommended to use the nutrition table to calculate how much you need to eat to reach your RDA. Used to love this company. But when you spend several hundred on an order and still, more than a week later, you've not heard a thing from them, and they force you to phone them up multiple times to find out what's going on, only to be told *someone* couldn't be bothered to process your order because one of their products lacked a barcode - well, never again! I've blacklisted them and will go elsewhere even if I have to pay more. And I'm taking the 7-8 other people I've directed towards them over the years as well. I hope it helps them get their act together, but I honestly doubt they care.

We have looked into this carefully for you and can see that we processed your order initially within 3 working days, which would have reached you within the 5 working days which is given on the delivery option which you selected. However, you then called us to let us know that the address that was given for the order was incorrect. We managed to stop your order from leaving us and changed the delivery address for you, as requested. The quality of the mixed nuts was so bad and should not have been sold at all. The nuts are so old and so dried. I am very disappointed. In the past, I emailed to say how bad the nuts were but I did not receive any reply.

I still have NOT RECEIVED the parcel. I waited in all day yesterday for them to deliver and nothing arrived. That is 4 times they have tried (Supposedly). If they don't deliver it on Monday I would like a refund please. I like your product but this is ridiculous.

I normally buy Deglet Nour Dates, recently I bought Adele Dates to try and they are terrible, very marshy, no texture and taste not good! I’m not happy to this product.

These dates are much better value than our organic medjool dates and organic deglet noir dates, however they are not as succulent and soft. Very disappointed. Terrible communication. No customer service. Shocking lack of communication. Received a random partial paypal refund one evening almost a week after ordering. Nothing from the company to mention something was unavailable. No update for an entire week. Ordered on Monday: No message or email to say this is your order. No message or email to say thank you for your order. No message or email to update anything at all. The only update and single communication was from DPD to say they would deliver later in the day and STILL absolutely nothing from forest whole foods. When DPD delivered as the exact time they said (thank youDPD), suddenly Forest Whole Foods have an automatic email saying your order has been delivered. UNBELIEVABLE! Extremely disappointed with this company's lack of any communication. Would not recommend forest wholefoods to anyone after this recent purchase and trying to find alternatives for organic nuts, seeds and other products. The communication and customer service from this company is atrocious, a real shame and will not use again.

Really, really, really poor delivery service. Once they have shipped off the premises they dont want to know what the cowboy couriers do after that even though it IS their responsibility. I got food poisong from dodgy dried fruit/mango. They ignored all emails. A danger to life stay away.

I hate to leave such a bad review for a company that claims to be conscious for our planet, but it’s important consumers understand risk of purchasing from this brand. They sell products that are short dated (I’m talking less than 2 or 3 months left on the best before date on goods that can’t possibly be consumed within a 6 month period for the average household). When I contacted them with images to prove the issue, their response was pretty indifferent claiming that they themselves get sent short dated items from their supplier and that I should just accept it and know that the product should be fine to consume if I store it right. I personally value brands that are transparent and aim to offer an honest and fair service and sadly found this response to fall short. The company should state on their site the sell by & best before dates on each product page and at the very least offer a free of charge returns policy.

Hi there, Thanks for your review and sorry to hear that you are not happy with our BBE's. We have checked into this for you and can see that most of the products you have purchased have between 1 - 1.5 years on the BBE. Organic vegetable bouillon has 6 months from production due to it containing oil which can go rancid. We always stock the most recent crops of our products and the best before dates we apply are according to when we think the quality may start to reduce. These are not sell by dates. BBE's can be extended if the products are stored correctly in cold / cool conditions. We have dedicated customer service team who you can call to check BBE's before your purchase. Kind regards FWF

Very disappointed ! I bought before , it was great quality but this time is totally poor quality . Rang the customer service , was told they have changed supply. They won’t give refund because I have opened it! So I have wasted £60 . Won’t buy again

Hi there Ying, Thank you for your review. As mentioned on the phone, the Organic Dried Black Mulberries you bought are no longer infused with carrot juice like the previous versions. This is because we aim to have no added ingredients to our products as we like them to be natural as well as organic. The ingredients are clearly outlined on each product page and you will note this one only contains 100% Organic Black Mulberries. With regards to the Organic Hulled Millet, as mentioned, we cannot compare this to something you have bought in a supermarket as the origin/supplier etc will be different and cannot refund this item purely because the taste is not the same. In both instances, we cannot offer a refund as there is no fault with the product and the ingredients are outlined in the product descriptions. Kind regards, FWF Team
