“Insurance is not fully comprehensive as advertised. The third party insurer is a nightmare to deal with. Waiting months for payment from insurer and money provided not sufficient to cover cost of repair. Forces Solutions have not engaged with the process at any stage.”

“I felt your broker was quite arrogant and anti military. For an organisation that is meant to support the military it made me walk away from the conversation leaving my wife to deal with him. Indeed, his comment "you know what annoys me about the military" and I believed to be against the AF Covenant. We may continue with the insurance by renewing it next year, but I would hope for better treatment if this is to be the case.”

“cancelled the policy and after 2 months still waiting for a refund and despite chasing them and getting lots of excuses for why they cant pay. they even sent me an email on 26 nov saying they had refunded - its now 6th december and no refund . terrible customer service”

Dear Mr Daubney, Apologies for your dissatisfaction in this matter. I have reviewed your comments. You have to appreciate that under FCA guidelines there are very striuct rules around client funds. Having said that 2 months is totally unacceptable as such I will review our internal processes to get the funds back quicker. Regards your second point, we actioned the refund on the 26th November 2020 in accordance with the advice we gave you. As you paid by card we are required to refund the money back to the same card inline with UK money laundering rules. If you can please check the account for which the card . “Over-inflated premiums based on a captured market. The premiums are not comparable with UK premiums and penalise soldiers for serving in BFG. This fails the military convenant and exploits serving personnel who have limited options. Your questionnaire is also irrelevant! What flaming delivery?! Sums up your company, out of touch and exploiting soldiers who commit their lives to service for the greater good. Shame on you.”

Mr Johnson-Motyl, thank you for taking the time to share your comments. I understand your point. However to be fair you can't compare pricing in the UK compared to pricing in Germany. We try our best to ensure we are competitive, Insurance for BFG is always more expensive, that's why we have packed our policy with useful additional benefits such as the optional Guaranteed Hire car etc. Typical UK insurance only comes with limited European cover where as our policy comes with unrestricted cover. We have regular meetings with our underwriters and will take on board your comments. Thank you once again for your feedback, as a new company we rely on this feedback to ensure we are progressing in the right direction.
