Images of the cream gift wrap that is used and the black bow and printed ribbon along with the optional gift card is shown on the website. I purchased this as a replacement for what I thought was an identical glass purchased some years ago. Its a lovely glass but narrower although both 11oz! I was disappointed about that and messaged customer care who I have to say we’re not very sympathetic or helpful!

Dear Barry, I am deeply sorry that you had a negative experience with your tumbler. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and it's disappointing to hear that we failed to meet your expectations. From looking into this matter, I can see the glass you originally had was from John Lewis (Who have a different style of glass to the one we stock on our website) and the current glass you purchased was directly from ourselves. Since then John Lewis, no longer stock the style of glass which you purchased a couple of years ago. Please accept our apologies on this matter. -AG

First purchase from English Pewter Company. The biggest regret was the shipping cost to the USA which was almost as much as the tankard itself. The tankard also felt like it was pewter plated, not solid feeling, very lightweight. I have a pewter tankard from 25 years ago that is solidly made and heavier to hold. The engraving was nice and the reason I purchased as a gift. I could’ve ordered the same tankard from Amazon Prime minus the shipping costs. Oh well my bad!

Pewter monogram was lovely but on a very cheap looking glass. I wish I had been aware of this but sadly buying online it is impossible to accurately assess this.

The product is very good, just what I hoped for, with excellent customer service. However, unfortunately, due to the price of the delivery with the extra unexpected cost of customs and taxes I will be unable to purchase again from your company.

I bought a Pewter Mug as a gift for a friend, had it engraved with his name and shipped across the pond to the US. I called the customer service number to ask about the engraving which was very helpful. The representative answered my questions and ensured my worries were quelled and my needs were met. I received my mug in the package and it looked as though it had been tossed around on the flight over. The mug was bent on the top but I was kind of able to bend it back to its original shape. I think the mug should have been padded better before shipping so this wouldn’t happen. I would have preferred to have an option to direct the engravers to put the engraving on the opposite side and more centered on the mug.

The product is very good! Can recommend. My order was a gift and sent to an EU country. The tax that needed to be paid on delivery was almost the same cost as the order. It would have been good to have known that, we may not have ordered from a UK source.
