“Cakes were great but did not arrive on time despite me emailing custoemr services and adding the specific dates in the free text box available (as instructed). I ordered two weeks in advance to try and ensure they would arrive on time too.”

We apologise sincerely for the delay in delivering the cakes as per your expectations, which was caused by an unforeseen courier issue beyond our control. “Customer Service is always of a high standard. The logos and visuals of the product are great but sadly, it was a bit more style over substance as the cupcakes we tried, were dry & dense. I ordered a batch of 6 to try as we have been ordering and sending these out to customers and I was disappointed with the quality, as were my 4 other colleaugues that sampled these with me.”

“Delivered a day late rendering their purchase completely pointless, in a ruined box saturated through with water. Tasted ok but the extra day didn't help the dryness I would imagine. Have not responded to either phone call or email to discuss reimbursement / compensation. Would absolutely not recommend.”

Hi Alistair, thank you for your review and honest feedback. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to you with regards to your damaged cupcakes and late delivery. This isn’t our usual level of service at all. We send thousands of cupcakes out each week and it is very rare we get any damages. Despite us marking the boxes clearly with Fragile and ‘This way up’ stamps, we are always at the mercy of the couriers to handle this safely and unfortunately we have all been let down this time. We have contacted you privately in regards to compensation, thank you.

As you ordered lemon frosted cupcakes, the frosting does have a slight yellow tint to it. Apologies once again and please do not hesitate to contact us, to discuss this further.

“The logo on the top of the cupcakes was the completely wrong colour and not what I submitted. They were for a new brand roll out and the text of the company name should have been grey and was blue. Not great when your trying to roll out a new brand and not the colours I approved in the proof. Cakes were nice and delivered on time, so it was a real shame!”

I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy our products. Taste is a very subjective matter and as you can see from many of our other reviews, the majority of people really enjoy our products. However, in this instance we are sorry to hear that you did not.

Thank you for your honest review, we are sorry our cupcakes and biscuits were not not to your personal taste. We send out thousands of freshly made cakes, cupcakes, biscuits and flapjacks to hundreds of locations every week and the feedback we get is fantastic as you can see from the reviews on this independent site. Again, I am sorry you didn't like them and hope you find a supplier that meets your requirements.
