“Booked a car to be picked up at Geneva Airport through eRentals.co.uk. When the documents arrived, the car was to be provided by Dollar. When we got to Geneva Airport the Dollar desk inside the airport was closed and a notice advised us to get the shuttle bus to CarPark 51 and visit the Dollar office there. We got to the car park and found another notice advising us to go to the Hertz office as they were dealing with Dollar Rentals.
By now we were a bit anxious, but from that point on, everything went smoothly. No pressure was put on us to take out extra insurance and the car we got was fine. It had one or two minor scratches which we pointed out to the staff, and they recorded the fact they were there, no problem. When we returned the car, they checked for any additional scratches (there weren't any!) and we were on our way within 5 minutes.”
“Upon arrival at Heraklion the Olympic car hire location was easy to find. The car was well used and had covered 82,000km with lots of minor dents and scratches, but was very clean inside and out. The representative provided a detailed map and gave us good directions to our accommodation, he did not attempt to hard sell extra insurance and was very pleasant and helpful. The fuel policy was begin full/return empty and we were charged 75 Euros for the full tank of petrol. This was probably about 10 Euros too much, but this is normal practice and only to be expected. The car drove very well indeed with no issues, every switch and button worked every function perfectly. Upon return the representative made a very quick superficial check around the car exterior and that was that. Overall a very relaxed and hassle free experience; certainly recommend this company.”
