Upon arrival at Heraklion the Olympic car hire location was easy to find. The car was well used and had covered 82,000km with lots of minor dents and scratches, but was very clean inside and out. The representative provided a detailed map and gave us good directions to our accommodation, he did not attempt to hard sell extra insurance and was very pleasant and helpful. The fuel policy was begin full/return empty and we were charged 75 Euros for the full tank of petrol. This was probably about 10 Euros too much, but this is normal practice and only to be expected. The car drove very well indeed with no issues, every switch and button worked every function perfectly. Upon return the representative made a very quick superficial check around the car exterior and that was that. Overall a very relaxed and hassle free experience; certainly recommend this company.
