“Easy to use but had to pay for extra insurance at the car pick up in the US which we weren't told about on the e-carz site. We also bought an extra insurance policy on the e-cars which wasn't worth the paper it was written on hence why we had to pay when we picked the car up!”
“Agents must be aware that some companies are exerting pressure on clients at the check in desk to take out their excess insurance even if you have a valid certificate purchased in the uk. If you have this understand that you do not need to take the hire companies insurance, but great pressure is exerted at the desk and uk companies need to highlight the fact that clients do not need to submit to this pressure.. Otherwise the hire was ggreat, and my unused fuel was credited the next day.”
“Decent price. Had to pay for full tank of fuel at desk at ridiculous rate, I am supposed to be refunded in full if I retuturn it with a full tank - 4 days and still waiting!”
“The only negative was that there was a lot more damage on car than was listed on original sheet. Had to get he chap to log them before we could leave as we did not want to be accused of causing them. Always check car carefully.”
“Only small criticisms for enterprise company we got our car through.
They said they do transfers to the car depot every 10 minutes, half an hour stood there it took us to ring them for them to come and get us.
Also, we were given a car that wasn't what we ordered. Understand it says 'or similar' but personally the perodua was nothing similar to a Chevrolet spark...”
“We ended up with a car from Interrent (using Europcar premises?) - a firm walk from the airport terminal in Edinburgh. The Booking process was confusing - we ended up with a booking email then an email to say we'd receive a voucher then we got the voucher and its instructions to collect the car were different from how it actually was supposed to work - all in all very confusing. On top of that the staff at the collection point didn't seem really interested in their jobs. We didn't realise there were extras for a 2nd driver (£12/day!!!!!!) what rubbish! We get cheaper cars elsewhere where 2nd driver and no-excess is included standard so no surprises - ever! I ended up ill but refused to let my partner drive just in case we were discovered having swapped drivers - how silly is that! Then at the airport we couldn't find a petrol station so had to ask at the nearest hotel who sent us back onto the nearest A-road. The only great things about the car was the quality and the cost. I guess it was good value for money but with room for improvement! :)”
“car was cheep but very noisy with far too much road noise. could not even get my suitcase in the boot. as the car was only for 2 of us this was no problem so I never complained Wont accept a Chevrolet Swift in future.”
“I think that in the main they are fine but the issue with this and many similar companies is that they are only as good as the product suppliers they can represent and as it is the ultimate supplier that we as customers deal with some of the issues and what happens after the introduction are beyond their control but still effect the experience.”
