I wouldn't even give them a one. Rang them multiple times, when they answer the phone there's no professional greeting, they're very demanding trying to force you to make payments and don't like answering any questions. One day they quotes me £1453 the next day they quoted me over £4000!! I'm a new driver but that's taking the mick. Just on customer service alone I wouldn't go with them.

Bad communication, tried to get money from me I didn’t owe, emails confirming I didn’t owe the money, yet other emails and letters threatening court action

Omg where do I start just for even bother it's a waste of time and money advicer don't give you correct information, they toke Money out my account without my permission !! had to pay £75 to cancel policy was calling them up there so rude and unhelpful, was very stressful

Reluctant to even give it 1 star! Absolutely shocking service. They kept hanging up on me, they speak over you, they are so rude. Had to pay £75 to cancel my policy!!! It's an absolute disgrace. I will NEVER go with these again. Don't waste your time with them. They are con artist just scamming you out of money. It's disgusting.

Didn't need to use the policy whilst I had it, but they have attempted to contact me no less than 8 times ahead of my "renewal" - which was a good £400 more than competitors. It's £200 more than the price I paid with them last year. No way to opt out of the endless texts, calls and e-mails they're sending, and I still have 2 weeks before renewal. I would never use this pest of a company again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS RUDE COMPANY. DO not speak to Kristian Dlamini or Trevor Maccord I received a renewal quote which I needed to amend. I called the customer service helpline, once the agent picked up and began asking about the security questions he became very very rude. He asked me and the policy holder the same question 6 times. Buy this time I was very angry buy his questions and manner of tone and asked to speak to a manager. He also didnt seem too interested so asked for his name and his manager (director). He then asked if i would like to purchase the policy..........NOOOO WAY!!!! I am waiting for the complaints team to call me, im sure they wont. Very rude customer service, its a good thing ive not needed to claim for something and needed to call them! they would probably put all blame on me!

This firm is completely incompetent at every step the process of dealing with them to make a claim and the multiple other companies they have subcontracted has been a nightmare. It is accurate to say that they have missed no opportunity to demonstrate incompetence or create inconvenience or cost for us. I have considered a complaint to the ombudsman but this incident has already wasted far too much time. Even the phone number they provide on the renewal quote documentation and text, which I tried to call today, after they tried to renew insurance on a car they had declared a write off, does not work - a total farce.

Had car insurance with debenhams last year, all fine, came to renewal and it was double the price of last years quote so went else where, they took £123 from my bank although i had cancelled twice with them, According to debenhams i was on an automatic renewal policy, i've been waiting for nearly two weeks for someone to get back to me and refund my money that they have basically stolen from me, they havn't provided me with any cover so how can they charge me for a service that i've not had from them.........I will not recommed this company to anyone in the future........... STAY WELL AWAY......

The most unhelpful customer service advisors I have ever known. I have spent the majority of the morning on hold again or being fobbed off to a different department and in the end they were still no help and could not care less I am basically £500 out of pocket due to their inability to do their job. When you claim it's through Eldon insurance who are even worse. Avoid like I wish I had!

Stay away from this company. I paid my insurance in full for the year after getting my quote. After 10 days I got an email saying the date of my licence was wrong by 4 months so I owe £168. Luckily I saved all the information I'd inputted and turns out it wasn't wrong so I provided them with it to which they said "sorry we'll knock the admin fee off so it's £118"!!! I then cancelled my insurance and because it was 15 days in they changed me £258 and refused to explain why or give me a break down

Actually this is from my recent experience with one of female customer agent omg she was so so rude her behaviour wasn't acceptable please ppl stay away from them .i want to cancel my insurance with them but they charging me 600 pounds for that which is not worth they are rubbish people . Very very disappointed.

Renewal price came, double previous year and competition. Declined. Contacted me daily by text and call despite me asking to be removed from list. Harrasment.

Its quite an unethical company, firstly any changes to the policy are very expensive. Worst is their cancellation policy (http://www.debenhamscarinsurance.co.uk/documents/car/TOB_car.pdf) - to quote Within the 14 day cooling off period If you’re a consumer buying or renewing a policy which provides cover for you in a private capacity, you have the right to cancel your policy during a period of 14 days either from the day of purchase of the contract, or the day on which you receive your policy documentation; whichever is the later. If you exercise this right and the cover has not yet commenced, you’ll be entitled to a full refund of the premium paid less a £25 charge. If the insurance has commenced and provided that you have not made a claim or a claim has not been made against you, we will return to you the amount that you have paid us, after deducting: • A pro rata deduction of the total premium for the time that you have been on cover, unless your policy is underwritten by an insurer where short period premiums apply. • A pro rata deduction of our broker arrangement fee. • A £35 cancellation charge as set out in the ‘Policy and Administration charges’ section of this document • Where applicable, the Direct Debit arrangement fee will be refunded less a £5 charge. • If a discount was applied when you took your policy out, this discount will be deductible from any return premium due on a pro-rata basis. Implying that they can charge anything you like upon cancellation, and this apparently isn't highlighted when you take out the policy. I had to threaten them to take them to the Financial Ombudsman.

""Dont normally do this but after what I have just been through i felt the need to do so before others are caught like i have been. I took out car insurance as these where the cheapest at the time, I had sent every document they had asked for, to receive a letter today 11-9-17 saying that my policy had been cancelled 8-9-17, for not providing proof of address, so not only did they cancel my policy but they decided to contact me via post 3 days later to tell me it was cancelled. I e-mailed them and got absolutely know where. I phoned them the attitude on the women i was speaking to was appalling she lied saying she had not received any proof of address bare in mind i had sent a photo copy of my licence which has my address on it, when I brought her up on this she told me then they had not received any information, when i said to her you told me the only thing you hadnt received was the utility bill with proof of my address she got defensive and started calling me a liar. They are rude they rip you off, absolutely disgusting that they think they can treat people like this. I am taking this further and ill hopefully receive the money i paid them back. 1 star is to good for them!!!

The worst car insurance, please , people , stay away. Few days ago someone hit my parked unattended car . I called them everything was fine till the time they have found out the driver died ( heart attack) , at this point they refused to deal with me , they forced me to open the claim on my name and pay £500 excess . But why???? I had fully comp, and the person who hit and died at the time of an accident was alive and fully insured with a Admiral car insurance. I am contacting now Ombudsman and seek advice elsewhere. What's the point to pay so big money and they say you if you don't want to open a claim, we are not going to investigate. What a hassle - it's their job. And I have 100% win case , my car was parked next to my house and no one was in there. I am still in process , they forced me to open the claim , but I will sue them as well as the case is already in Ombudsman. DO NOT BY DEBENHAMS CAR INSURANCE, DEBENHAMS ITS A GOOD SHOP , BUT DEBENHAMS CAR INSURANCE IS UNDERWRITTEN BY ELDOS INSURANCE, they don't do their job just get my money and that is in a 100% win case, I may imagine the other cases. HORRIBLE

Worst company insurance carrier by Taurus insurance. This insurance not replace any device. Only repair. I had my laptop delivered after repair and I sent it back for repair again. AVOID THIS INSURANCE. MRS BARRADAS.
